Just stuck a pair on the front of my mk8 fiesta st today. Definitely notice it feels much smoother and grippier but that’s just because it’s a brand new pair of tyres vs old PS4’s worn to the legal limit. They look cooler though and hopefully they will last longer. Only an extra £5 per tyre compared to the ps4.

Do they have the same rim guard protection the Ps4 have?

They are exactly the same.

@@nobodyshero200 depends on the mould. Thailand made Ps4 and Ps5 don't have the rim protection which is shame.

From what I've heard and read so far, the ps5 will be almost identical to the ps4 (which is an amazing tyre already), the main upgrade over the ps4 is its life, it should wear much better. That's what i heard so far anyway, I got my ps4's just before the ps5 came out haha. The reason why tyres always say they need to be worn in is because they cover the rubber in lube to get them easily out of the moulds when making the tyres, wearing a tyre in is just getting rid of that layer of not so sticky stuff to reveal the proper sticky rubber below.

@@acarguy3773 It has probably changed because of the world's circumstances since I last bought them. But £288.88 for 2, fitted including alignment.

@@nobodyshero200 seems a bit steep compared to what I paid for my PS4's, but I'm friendly to my local place so I get fitting and everything free haha. I think i paid just under £400 for 4. 🤔 🤔

I can't decide which.. Eagle's Asymmetric 6, SuperSport..... or the PS5 😕😕😕 close price but i don't which one is the most fun to drive with more precision and sportiness... And last longer of course because wearing fast means you gonna loose grip so...

I am going to try the Goodyear's next time. Hopefully the slightly stiffer sidewall won't upset my cup suspension. I do not think you will be disappointed which ever you buy. Still really liking the PS 5s.

I have them for 1 month and they are very good, insane grip on dry and very good on wet tho. Plus they are very responsive. But a little bit noisy.

Assymetric 5 or 6 are better. PS4/PS5 to biased towards comfort.

I had ps4 very very disappointed. No traction at dry but very good at wet. Very frustrated with that tyre. Also Assym 5 but with hot weather the tyre is loosing grip very very easily. Conti 6 was superb. Uniroyal sp 5 is very nice tyre. Dont know about Bridg sport

I gave up on continental tyres. The fronts lasted 5k. Useless in the motorbike as well. Badly made. I fancy Asymmetric next. A better sidewall. Hopefully it won't be to hard with my cup suspension.

Wow.I get about 10k on any tyre if I am lucky on the front. Me and sport continental tyres have a bad relationship. A couple of my friends have had the same problems as me. It would take a small miracle for me to use them again on any wheel.

10000 miles. We use K for 1000. An example would be. It cost £2000 which is 2K. I hope this helps?
