It doesn’t. What he said was wrong. Mohammed specifically said that cross dressing is a great sin. There are many authentic hadiths that say this. He was a hypocrite and did many of the things that were considered sinful but not sinful for him. I’m going to guess this is why Iran does this as there are many schools of thought due to the hypocrisy in Islam. The other things is that there is nothing that says that gay men are possibly straight women, as transitioning was not a thing then.

If trans are most hit by domestic violence, then why in UK there 0 cases of trans being attacked or murdered in last 2 years, but one women is dying from domestic violence every 3-4 days in UK? In USA similar situation as well. And what about homelessness if majority of trans are middle class or rich like PhTu (who have around 25-30 grands per MONTH, while in UK 25-29 grands per YEAR is average, so PhTu is among very rich people). Police violence have 0 attacks on trans too, even in the USA, while there a lot against women. Like wtf is PhTu even saying? It all just lies. Even if we take Stonewall and other transgender organizations - they all still showing that transgender people are one of the safest demographics everywhere (even in Brazil, where 70% of all murders in the world of transes happening - and if one country have 70% of all - this tells a lot).
@GrimMeowning
@GrimMeowning 3 жыл бұрын
And issue with toilets and scholarship of PhTu is so weird - it is not white issue, it is actually more of an issue for poor girls and women of color, so him saying that problems of poor and women of color are "white privileged issues" only tells even more how far PhTu is from reality and how far PhTu is from understanding women in general. The more PhTu talks - the more it is clear that PhTu have zero ideas about women or womenhood, yet says...
@GrimMeowning
@GrimMeowning 3 жыл бұрын
Oh and this "people not accepting our ideas is like people who fought against suffragettes and black people movements". This is just forced teaming, as none of those movements were asking for privileges, none of those movements were demands movements, they just asked to give women and people of color rights that everyone else have, but they don't. While transgender people already have all those rights, they just want more than that, and their ask for "rights" is hurting rights of other marginalized groups - which never was the case with fight for women rights, fight for gay rights and fight for rights of people of color - none of them were taking away rights of other minority, none of them were asking more than just basic rights and equality.
@GrimMeowning
@GrimMeowning 3 жыл бұрын
The thing about "treating everyone on every occasion equally the same" is very-very patriarchical and misogynistic in nature, we had doing that in many countries for decades, sometimes even centuries, it is just that "needs that are on average same for everyone" are in general ending up on needs where for men it is enough, but not enough for women. Such "same for everyone" makes it unequal to women. Like - put everyone in unisex sports will remove such thing as female athletes completely, things like unisex toilets will remove ability for girls and women to get education and even get some jobs and will endanger women (in UK in unisex toilets sexual attacks are 9 times more often). Very good book on it - "Invisible Women" - really recommending to read it. It shows how "taking average" is very disadvantageous for women and often to other minorities or poor people. Sex-segregated spaces and sports are existing to INCLUDE women in social life and sports, to make it equal for us.

In it, Jessie talked about Tiffany Michelle More, a documented ex-criminal, fetishist, and creep around his child-and also a transwoman🌸 Maybe you’ll remember the GameStop episode with the trans woman yelling “it’s MAAM” That’s Tiffany. Anyway, Jessie said Tiffany was justified in the yelling, swearing, and aggression because everyone else was harassing him by misgendering him. That sounds like what Pt is doing. Manipulating you into thinking that aggressive trans identified males who tell lesbians to suck their … and joke about slaughtering terfs are being falsely called aggressive for “standing up for themselves.”

It flies in the face of reality: women who support women's spaces being dismantled are incredibly privileged. Hey KC, ex muslim here, and you are right about that Hadith ea it exist but in mainstream Islam, both sunni and shia rejects the notion of transgenderism and transvestism, it is haraam (forbidden) - the thing about the thing in Iran is that one of the trans identified male supported Khomeini during the Islamist revolution in Iran to topple the Shah Pahlavi regime.. in hoping trans women would get rights.. they did, but with terms and conditions, and the person was beaten to pulp before Kohmeini give them an audience.. lol. Islam by default hates LGBTIQ. If the narrations of hadiths are to be taken as facts, and canon (because compilation of hadiths only occurs 200+ years after his demise), then the hadith you mentioned about him cross dressing contradicts the hadith about male and female cross dressers are condemned by Allah. Also sunni and shia don’t believe in the same hadiths and sunnah, they’re enemies of each other. Think Catholic vs Protestant but worse.

Just want to point out something about Islam. Cross dressing is actually taboo and Mohammed on many occasions stated that this was a great sin. He however, is a huge hypocrite which is why there are so many different schools of thought. Generally this is looked at as a taboo topic. Men dressing as women is a sin. However, the idea of men being born in the wrong bodies is not. Which is why homosexual men are forced to transition in Iran. It’s a grey area but this has never been discussed in Islam. Tbh if transitioning was actually possible when Islam was developing I would assume that this would not be a taboo. Not to mention many of the hadiths and scholars clearly state that homosexual sex is degrading bc one is being penetrated, implying that they are assuming the degrading position of a woman. Again because of this I would assume the practice of transitioning gay males would not be seen as taboo. However, most Muslims are still against trans people especially if they are homosexual. You see those anomalies in history like in Nazi Germany where transitioning was seen as okay and so was cross dressing if the man doing it was straight. If the man was homosexual then it was not. Again all of this goes down to homophobia and woman hating. When it comes to physiology tube I would assume they’d try to think and reason at least a little, but nope head completely empty just elevator music.

i want to clarify some things that are mentioned here, first cross dressing is haram but there is no clear cut rules for what is cross dressing exactly (except the fact that it's haram to wear silk or gold for men) otherwise it depends on the norm in the culture, so arabs 1400 years ago used to wear kohl eyeliner and all had long hair and so that is not considered cross dressing but right now in 2021 if a man wore a dress then it would be considered cross dressing, and that happens a lot in islam where you're generally encouraged to follow your own society's rules, and about homosexuality it's haram because it's against human nature in general and not really about who gets penetrated (that's the reasoning behind it anyway), and i know islam is misogynistic but homosexuality being haram is not it also when talking about islam you really shouldn't mix what some scholars say and believe and what all Muslims agree on (i.e the quran) because if you really want to you can find all sorts of really extreme opinion that don't necessarily reflect what islam is actually about, like for example some scholars say that women should not work or participate in battle even though the prophet Muhammad's wife Khadija had a full on business and women fought beside him in battle. also some argue for transsexualism because it is seen as an illness (gender dysphoria) and therefore should be treated I'm not defending islam and i know for a fact that islam has a lot of issues but it matters to represent these issues truthfully

I'm really thankful for you talking about the difference between same-sex attraction and the effects of gay conversion therapy vs gender dysphoria and treatments for it. So many times now I've seen right wingers/fed up normal people use the TRA movement to drag down gay people as mentally ill/sexually abused/lacking a father figure by conflating them with gender dysphoric people, or on the other side of things use the past history of genuine struggle and discrimination gay people went through as a shield against legitimate concerns towards the TRA movement. Being gay is not a medical condition, it requires no treatment, there are no instances I know of (outside of obviously performative, blatantly still-gay christian sad sacks) of people successfully 'converting' from gay to straight and it does not cause long term dysfunction and internal suffering absent of homophobia and persistent harmful cultural depictions. None of these things are true of gender dysphoria. They are entirely separate issues and, in fact, largely in gross conflict, given that many cases of gender dysphoria seem to stem from a gay child growing up in unaccepting conservative/religious environments that cause them to poorly process their internal shame and develop it into gender dysphoria. I can only hope more gay people start to recognize and speak up on the inherent, increasingly open homophobic (and misogynistic cough PhilosophyTube cough cough Keffals cough) nature of the TRA movement.
