Hi Michel, it will be our first time in austin for my husband and I (who live in London with our little one age 12) and our 3 children ( my eldest daughter studies in Ny and my son in Boston) .funny enough I was hesitating between the exact 3 hotels you recommended and my favourite in term of design was the proper. we are hoping for some sun and to be able to sit and enjoy the pool in mid april( especially coming from London) we will only be staying for 4 nights.should we go for the proper or the other 2 are more central for shopping or it is fine we could always take an uber? what do you recommend? your recommendations are great by the way and I so enjoyed your video ! thxs sevyne

Should've had this video back in June! Start and finished our honeymoon Deep South roadtrip in Austin and loved it! We did go to Cidercade (I think you mentioned it in another video). We loved Torchy's and Franklin's and had a great stay at Motel Austin on our final night. We're already looking forward to coming back someday!

As someone who visited Austin often growing up and as an adult who now lives here, I appreciate the content. I love the way it was layer out and all the cool little spots most people don’t visit due to the hype of the most popular locations. I definitely took notes and will be visiting some of these locations soon! And when family from Wisconsin comes to visit I’ll be sure to make a good impression on myself but also our beautiful city thanks to your recommendations.
