My caterer (and now personal hero) packed us a basket with two full meals, a bunch of appetizers and cake. Once we got back to the hotel that night and got our wedding clothes off the first thing we did... was eat! No shame haha. 😂 We were starving! It’s true when people say you have no time to eat! And our caterer was incredible so I would have been totally bummed if we hadn’t gotten to enjoy her food.😂♥️

I totally agree about the "getting stuck somewhere" issue. As a wedding photographer I ALWAYS warn my couple about this. People are always the same - they get EXCITED and they want to say hi... but even if you give EVERY SINGLE GUEST one minute, you will notice that you are occupied for... 100-200 minutes total! It's a little thing but it can be a lot by the end! haha

Getting married in 17 days! I feel like this video did help just knowing to eat as soon as possible and focus on the hubby during the first dance. I was nervous about that part but not so much anymore. Also I know what you mean being cornered... I am doing a back yard wedding at my house and this past weekend 20 people showed up to help do yard work... Everyone was asking me questions and lining up to talk to me about what to do... Eventually I just started staying out of the middle of the yard so I couldn't get circled lol my bridesmaids took me for a walk to help with the stress... I'm so thankful for them but it's a lot for one brain lol it makes me feel like I will handle the wedding well with their help. So glad you had people who could sneak you around when you needed it!

I only invited 20 guests! It was amazing to only spend time with my closest friends and family. We spent more on our honeymoon (3 weeks in Maui/Oahu) than our wedding lol We also had no dancing and we played board games at our wedding.

When I was married, my husband and I went table to table to greet our guests while they were eating. But we brought our photographer so we got a picture with each group of people but it also subtly let people know we couldn’t have long conversations because there were other tables waiting.

Im getting married on September 6th, 2020 and we just booked out venue woohoo.... im getting so nervous tho, I feel like tho we have a year and half to plan, we don't have any time lol... We haven't got our guest list in order and as he is an only child, his mom definitely wants a lot of people there because you know, its her only child... We don't have a coordinator but the venue offers a day of coordinator. the venue is a one event a day venue so their attention will be all on us. I just get nervous because i like to be in control of things and like things done a specific way so I hope they exceed my expectations.. they seem great so far.... as for the food, we just had a food tasting and the bridal attendant came over and said on the day of wedding she makes sure that all her brides and grooms eat. so Im holding her accountable for that! I love to dance so everyone Im inviting im telling them that the cocktail hour is when we will be walking around greeting people (as were taking pictures before the ceremony) and once the reception starts, meet me on the dance floor :-) lol
