I told my parents I was never getting married because I was having so much fun seeing a lot of different people. Then a month later I meet a guy who asks me out on a date and brings me flowers to my work the next day. He was friends with one of my coworkers who when we met just talked for a couple of hours into the weee hours of the morning. We got engaged within 6 weeks and married 9 months from when we met and have been married for 30+ years. You never know what life will throw at you.
