Was all about the 2nd knob by itself but on the desk I love the bubble knob. If you love the fabric boarder, it might look cool to add 1 or 2 smaller blocks of fabric that have the boarder on the other side(s) so it evens out what you started with. Love seeing your DIYs!

Love the fabric! Why not do two overlapping pieces? Then you get even more border, and don't have to worry about it looking off centered 🤪

I was all about the drawer pull with the ridges but then when you showed them on the desk, the round one seems like a better fit for the desk. It looked really good!!

PLANT IDEA.. get a corner caddy/ corner shelf and have the plants go up in the corner of the desk, saves you desktop space. I adore the second knob but on the desk, I think the first works best. For the art, I personally love the fabric, maybe find similar color schemes even if it's clothing scraps and make a collage that way. Or a different medium. And we appreciate the fan being off🫶hope fall weather finds you soon!

The ridges knobs are very art deco style which really ties in to your bar area I think so I love them 😍 and like you said a little elevated from the ball ones ❤however now I’ve seen them on I actually think the ball work better against the white I don’t know why I feel the ridged would look better on natural wood colour 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi Michel, love your homemade bedroom art. Try layering another cutout piece on the bottom left with the border on the opposite side. I think that will balance it out and give a border to both sides.

I vote the round knob for the desk. I thought I would like the other one better, but I don’t. I vote for adding fabric pieces in a collage to the art. One suggestion -get a rotary cutter and mat to cut the fabric. It is much easier to get precise straight cuts which would improve the look given the pattern on the fabric.

Love the round knob! Also, maybe wrap what remaining fabric you have off to one side so that it doesn't have the cut two sides? Like wrap the sides you would have cut around the left side of the prayer and bottom left corner so it still does what you were wanting just has clean edges. I hope that makes sense, lol

i think single piece of fabric that goes over the whole thing (up to the frame). I like the fabric's border, but i think it looks funky with the border not surrounding the fabric. love your vids, and love watching your home, cooking, and life projects!

You can use plain liquid starch also on fabric crafts. That way if you do not like you can re wet or wash. In rental we startched fabric walks to match shower curtain and towels. Wet walk and remove

I thought for sure I would like the second knob better, but the first little round one is a better match with the desk, maybe because they are both kind of little and cute rather than sophisticated? Do you mind a tip about the fabric art? It would look better if you turned it over and had the larger margin at the bottom. If you start looking at matted art, you will notice that often the bottom of the mat is slightly wider. It gives it a little more visual weight and seems more "grounded" or something like that.

Spherical knob. For the art, what if you do it again but take the border all the way to the top right corner. Not sure if you have a big enough piece left over for that yet. Also, using Canva or another digital art tool might help you visualize the art placement before you execute it. The desk turned out really cute!

Great desk. It's nice to find unfinsihed furniture so you can make it match your other stuff. The stone top is amazing! Both knobs are cute. Really like that "stone" picture frame. I think your fabric art is nice, but I wanted you to piece together the border around all four sides, or no border at all. So I'd say, redo with the center piece of fabric.

I pick knob # 2. They both look good though. I think it would be really cute to do a patchwork sort of look on the diy fabric picture. So cute! The original one looked fine to me on the side to side part but it looked like it should be moved up, like it was too low. Otherwise super cute. However, for someone who likes symmetry it would probably drive them nuts ❤❤❤
