Hi Michel! I am loving your moving content. I have a suggestion for the den. I would consider selling the current couch and replace it with a small apartment sized love seat. Then I would add two chairs which could add a pop of colour and extra seating. Then I would add an ottoman with storage, that could also double as a coffee table. A tray on top will give a more sturdy surface for drinks, etc. Just some suggestions! Hope you are doing well!

I have one of those magnetic screens, be sure you get a heavy-duty one, otherwise the magnets are not strong enough to close property. Amazon is where I get mine. Heavy duty!!

You could have your dad use his drill (and/or get one for yourself and have him teach you how to use it) to put a few more screws into that little table that you glued together!! That would make it a lot stronger, and would be easy to do with someone with a drill!!

When you have a stripped screw, you can use toothpicks in the hole when screwing them back it. The screw grabs the toothpick and it’s a little trick to help so you don’t have to create new holes.

For your broken dressing table, stuff wooden matches (without strike-ey fire-ey part on the head) into the holes, and then use a screwdriver to put it back together. The wooden matches fill in the stripped out part and will give the screws a place to "grab". Good luck!

I’ve been an accredited home stager for 18 years, and would totally hang a mirror between the windows in your bedroom!!! Scale is important and it’s perfectly ok to overlap the edges of the windows. I’ve done it and It’s a cool look!!!! 🤩

The apartment is coming along great! Hopefully helpful hint - if a screw hole is stripped, shove some toothpicks in the hole (you can add wood glue too if you wish). Cut off the toothpicks to length and screw into them. 😊

Hi Michel! I really enjoy your videos, especially your car talks. Although I am considerably older than you I still find myself picking up new information or ways of looking at something. As far as the desk goes, you need to re-glue the one leg that is barely hanging on and then drill new holes and screw in new screws for a more stable desk. I would do a small mirror the is about the same width of the column. It accomplishes two things, it looks more intentional and provides you with a sense of what is going on behind your back....a feng shui concept that makes a lot of sense. Finally, instead of hauls for the sake of hauls, which is costly and reinforces the need to buy more, how about a pinterest inspired "shop my closet" series. Something you do every now and then where you pick two outfits from your pinterest inspo board and recreate them with clothes you have. It does not need to be so exacting and literal, just capture the essence of the inspo outfit. I could see this being fun, helpful and inspiring to use what you have. Thanks again for the time and effort you put into your videos.

Your old place was nice, but this place (for some strange reason) seems to suit you so much better. Very homey. When you are decorating and styling the place, you should find a place for some of your beautiful pottery to be displayed instead of keeping them inside a cabinet. That fan thing in the bathroom is probably a light/fan combo and they turn on together. I used to have one like it and hate the fact that the fan has to be on when light is on. Anyway, my husband was able to cut the wire to the fan and cap it off so now only the light comes on. You have to sacrifice the fan though, which I was willing to do to not hear that dang fan all the time. Your dad may be able to figure it out when he's there. Looking forward to see how you style your walls. That's my favorite part of decorating.

I think the mirror idea is great. You'll have more room on the table and it won't be in the way. I had that same set up at one time and had a mirror that opened up and had lights in it. On the outside I painted a picture. Had a couple of other things hanging there and it looked fine.

I was wondering if you have ever checked out a store in San Antonio called It's a glow? My husband and I travelled in the USA (we are from Ontario, Canada) for 2 1/2 months east to west in a pop up tent trailer and we camped for 2 days in San Antonio. We did the river walk which was amazing and found this store and I bought a few candle holders. I so bought my you are the besr friend a giant candle/wine bottle. The store looks amazing and surprise it glows!!! Lol. It is such a beautiful yellow glow to it when straights are in them. They store about how it's mined is interesting. I thought it might give you a beautiful glow in the evening for date night or just a "me night"

Michel: I don’t know if this has been answered, but your bathroom fan issue is because that switch on the wall you thought was a motion sensor is actually to turn the fan on when it senses high humidity. It’s a pain in the ass. I disconnected it or you can have a on/off switch reinstalled.
