I'm Canadian, & I think Americans should stop taking President Obama & his wife for granted. You really don't understand how much world opinion about the USA changed when he was elected. How much more respected Americans are. I'm white, & I cried when he was elected. I never thought I'd see it in my lifetime. And, I shed a tear tonight listening to Michelle. So, that's from someone on the outside looking in .... look at other world leaders and compare. You are very fortunate to have the Obamas.

I'm a senior in high school this year and I feel so lucky that I have someone like Mrs. Obama as a role model as I am a young woman about to go into the world. She inspires me to create change. She shows me that it is possible to be a woman and not have to resort to acting dumb or uneducated because of my gender.
