Wow! I just started therapy a few weeks ago & everything I thought was wrong today my therapist was able to build a story from waaaay back in my childhood & teens. I’m 49 now & life everything is starting to make sense since I’ve been in therapy. Mental Wellness is important & folks think they are living but are merely just existing. First Lady spoke exactly what my therapist explained to me & is helping me work through. Everything we do stems from another place/time in our lives ❤️❤️❤️❤️ this! Thanks Ricky!!!

I was raised by four men from Alabama, my father, his three older brothers and also their women: my father's mother born in the late 1800s, my mother and aunts. I wouldn't trade places with anyone, my childhood was safe and charmed. I was nurtured and I flourished, developed healthily. As a result, I esteem myself highly and I KNOW who I am in relation to the people our former First Lady Michelle speaks of including herself and more importantly in relation to TMH God. I wish you all well, and if I can help, just ask. Good morning and thank you, Rickey!

Great reminder that we often unconsciously identify with what we are accustomed to believe - our own distorted image / perception / narrative of ourselves, and we are stuck there believing there is only one truth. But the truth is this is all self-made and you CAN create alternative, more convincing, more objective and promising image, perception and story about yourself and reaffirm… so girls and boys out there, whenever your inner critic dismiss you cannot do this or that, disidentify yourself from it, and slowly, but persistently create your own story of your desired self,….. it will be hard, and feels very unnatural and counter-intuitive ( as you try to CHANGE what your body and mind became ‘familiar’), but dont despair, nor being discouraged, but continue, then before you knew it you are LIVING the life you desire! It is happening to me so it can to you all!
