I really enjoyed your film, Michelle! Your father’s music means so much to me as a guitar player. He was one of a kind. What a man and musician.

My fiancé and I watched the documentary together. It was the last thing I watched with him before my fiancé passed away. He and I have mad respect for Terry Kath and his family as well. Thank you for playing that awesome guitar 🎸

Terry Kath has the richest voice and his guitar playing is phenomenal. The best.

And, like Canadian, David Clayton Thomas & Brit Steve Winwood, Kath's blue-eyed soul voice definitely influenced by the great Ray Charles! Those three are the multinational blue-eyed soul boys!

Just watched this documentary. I already was a fan of Terry Kath's under recognized musical talent but this documentary really tells the story of who he was and what a nice person he was. Keifer talks about this, but it was amazing, the connections people who knew him well still have more than 40 years after his passing and how they would light up getting a glimpse of him in his daughter. So glad his daughter made it, it's a great story that needed to be told.

I never heard of Terry Kath until I saw/heard Chicago play at Tanglewood in 1970 here on youtube. I knew many of their songs but didn't really know who played the song while listening to the radio back in the 1970's. Of course that was with a lot of other bands as well. I saw them last year play at the Pacific Amphitheater in Costa Mesa CA. I am now learning guitar in addition to piano.

It's so cool to see that Kiefer Sutherland married my godfather's widow.

Kiefer seems so genuinely nice , a tame word but it’s true , he really thinks of Michelle as his own daughter, her children as his grandchildren . It makes me wonder why both his marriages failed as he is on good terms with both his ex wives , can’t help but think his famous problems with alcohol may have had something to do with it which is a massive shame . Family is clearing very important to him …

Big fan of the amazing Terry Kath...does anyone know where this documentary can be watched or purchased?
@369glitter7 жыл бұрын
Tony Schmitz There is a fan club on Facebook dedicated to Terry Kath. Michelle adds to the page. I believe it will be released 2017, join the club, you wont miss the release.

Great question, Tony. I was at the premiere & publicly asked this question when Kiefer Sutherland called on me in the audience to ask a question. Long story short (then): "We're working on it." I suggested it would be a natural for PBS stations to run during fund drive time. They've already done biopics on rock stars & other entertainers. Promoting & running this as a PBS special (aimed at later phase Baby Boomers, who have donation $$ to spend) seems just ideal. Are you listening Michelle? I hope so! This really deserves to get out there. If money is the problem let us know!

Thanks so much for the reply...I echo your sentiments entirely! I can only hope an avenue for sharing this documentary opens up--I completely agree that PBS is one such avenue.
