Whether its right or wrong, cutting off water and electricity will force civillians to the south or out of gaza completely. The Israeli ground force can sweep in take out hamas and rescue hostages limiting civillian casualties. Granted some hostages maybe taken out or to south of Gaza but most will remain in the north with hamas using them as bargaining chips. It is a rescue attempt. Obrien is clueless as per usual

This is what happens when you become so used to speaking to an echo chamber that you genuinely think your an expert on everything. This guy has never served or studied the military and is now making out like he is some sort of counter-insurgency /counter-terrorist expert. More respectable journalists either quote or get subject matter experts to explain topics on their show. Maybe obrien could go and visit somewhere outside of London/UK for once and listen to different people to learn some perspective.
