Yes!! Top shelf of your dining room book case please put a hanging lantern tat can bring in some bright green color & hang down the entire side of the bookcase. Suggestion... philodendron plant.Also... some square piece of white contact paper on the front of your TV stand would do wonders. Just make sure you leave a boarder of the wood showing, like 2” boarder. It would take up some of your “too much wood” problem but be able to keep your piece, which the shape/style is very stunning really!

Fiddle leaf figs are pretty difficult to keep alive, need a lot of sunlight, their leafs cleaned, and you can't over water. i'd suggest a pothos for the shelf! once they start to mature they will cascade down your shelf, which will look amazing and the plant itself is pretty forgiving! water once a week and should be fine with the the sun coming from the one window. (:

Figs are so hard to keep alive. I recommend you all fill your space with pothos. They’re so beautiful and grow super fast. Annnnd they never die!

The trains in Europe run amazingly so that should be your preferred way of traveling and there are tons of hostels.

I've got a very promising interview when I get back from my trip!! And Europe is actually SO CHEAP, especially compared to NYC. Plus, traveling with a group makes things so much more affordable bc you can split costs like Airbnbs and ubers between the group!

You need to repot the plant, they arent meant to live their lives out in the little container that you get them in. Do a few inches larger in diameter than the pot its in right now. Also add some african violet soil to that pot when you repot it. This will help with drainage and its great soil to mix in for tropical plants.
