Seeing your relationship with Esther really gives me hope in finding friends as an adult. I’m 26 and I literally talk to one other person and she’s my sister in law. To me, making new friends is most intimidating when I think of all the other friends they could already have so I think why would this person even keep me in her life when she’s already has everyone. We are very similar Meesh. Friends family and people in general think I'm confident, but I'm really not. I also feel comfortable and safe in my apartment. Being a homebody is not bad, I believe alone time is very valuable, but we need to be more confident because ultimately the lack of confidence will take a toll on us in several other aspects.
