This video unlocked so much for me, particularly the 360 spin. Those back catches are tough. Your stuff is always amazing but love whenever you do a lightsaber tutorial.

This is a combination of Makashi, Soresu, Shii-Cho, and Ataru. Very Impressive. It should be a Form of It's own. I would make this the 8th form Of Lightsaber Combat. Michelle -Tharu (way of Michelle Simth). I love this Combo.

Beautiful tutorials as always. Clearly explained and broken down. I would humbly recommend getting your hands on a wireless lav (like the Rhode Wireless Go 2), so your voice can come through clearly, and cancel out the reverb of the room. Your tutorials are first-class, and I think that can help with having your voice come clearly through, even when you're farther from the camera. Thank you for all the amazing work. Looking forward to more! Cheers!

I’ve always wanted to see a Jedi character that fought unarmed in a aikido style of combat. Always thought that lined up better with the Jedi philosophy.

@TaijDevon3 жыл бұрын
For Iaido this is a horror show. But for Chinese Jian or broadsword you are killing it. Maybe a bit Star Wars style but that is the point, correct? I never realized Star Wars is just Chinese broadsword.
@TaijDevon3 жыл бұрын
Well ok, the tossing the blade to the air and catching it to transition to a stab and the grip switches are Jian. Still pulling a lot of Shaolin or Wudang moves (I won't go into that mess, but you look more Wudang to me)
@TaijDevon3 жыл бұрын
OMG you know martial arts for real. This from a US Marine, Varsity Saber fencer, and Chinese and Japanese swordsman. You invented a plausible version of lightsaber combat. I am now in awe. Still thinK I can beat you 6-4 in saber fencing but you have convinced me that you would give me absolute hell.

Hood show off technique… but not so good as martial. You’ll loose your foot or legs if it was a real fight
@TheReverendJonnyNemo3 жыл бұрын
Your technique screams - no, DEMANDS it own character. Ashoka should be meeting you on her quest to find Ezra. While she's good, what if there were a sword wielder better than both Vader and her...

Don’t get me wrong, she’s good, but in actual combat either of those characters wouldn’t have a hard time

These choreographed moves look so cool, but as a hema practitioner of german longsword, they'd be effectively useless, or even detrimental in a fight.

thats the point it looks flashy, she is swinging a plastic lightsabre lol i mean if they were real your sword would be almost usless 😂
