I love how you say to wear the jeans that suit your body. Wide leg, baggy, low rise…are all styles I don’t like on my 5’2” frame. I’m glad I didn’t throw out my skinnies because they fit into boots, etc. I like a moderately high waisted jean with a slim fit leg…I’m sticking with that!

Pencil skirts and shiny satin ones can draw attention to a bulging tummy. A-line skirts are more forgiving. I don't like skirts/dresses that are too long, they can make you look old and frumpy. Of course they look amazing on a superslim model in her early 20s but what I often do is cover the model's face and imagine the same outfit on me (petite and not superslim), this tells me whether the outfit is for me or not.
