I can relate to the construction dust. We are replacing drywall in parts of our house and live in there, too. It is impossible to keep up with the dust! I can't wait to see how your bathroom remodel turns out. As far as your other bathroom, it is completely up to you if you go more adventurous or not. You could always paint, or add new towels, rugs, decorations for a change, and that would be reversible. Good luck!

No my house isn't as bad it's far worse.I've had the flu then pnemonia going on 3 weeks so standing up is a work out.Thank you for the motivation.Im a fulltime caregiver to my bed bound husband so it's been survival mode.We have to be okay sometimes not being okay. Priorities😉💝🕊

Hi Michelle I love your videos....I love how you talk as you go through your chores, it's interesting and uplifting. I know about the dust, last April our main bathroom was gutted and redone, lots of dust through the house, but it was so worth it. Our house was built in 1968 and we had a purple tub and sink, the toilet had been changed so it was white. We've lived here for 22 years and thought when we bought the house that would be the first thing we updated, but life happens and it kepf getting pushed to the bottom of the to do list. Now thankfully everything is shiny, clean and modern. I love using that bathroom and it's so easy to clean! Good luck with your reno!

Construction dust is the worst!! If you haven't already... it helps to change your air filter for your central heat and air unit. When they are complete, change it again. You might need to change it a few times following the remodel. It helps alot!

Girl I have been sick since Sunday. I have no idea what it was. Sunday and Monday I thought it was a sinus infection. Then Tuesday I wake up with all those symptoms gone but the worst sore throat. I figured it was strep. Wake up today almost 100% better. So weird. We have so many projects going on too. We’ve ripped up almost all the carpet and put hard flooring down. We did it all ourselves. We redid our pantry. I’m hoping to put a new vanity in the kids bathroom. And we are going to completely gut our master bathroom and change it out.

Also some wainscoting along the walls would be cute! 💨One tip I want to share....make sure to change your air filters in the house. It will catch Alot of that remodel dust! Bless you. Hi Michelle, hope you & yours are starting to feel better. Any time you do any changes in the house its a mess. I have such a hard time choosing tile, colors, & wallpaper. I have so many ideas of what I would like the house to look like but pulling it all together is a challenge. I know any thing you do to improve your home will be beautiful and will pay off in the end when your sell. Love the pink stuff. It is magic🎉Michelle I worked in Hospice for several years it taught me to really live & be aware of all the little things that we over look. If we stop for a minute there is a million reason to be joyful. Don’t look at the dust, be happy that you have a home to get dusty. We remodeled/added on to our house about 6 years ago but didn't do my kids baths. That's on our to do list but I'm dreading the mess!! Check your hvac air filter too! It will probably need to be changed more often!

I can second the positive self talk, self help books, etc. Recently I was very low, felt like I was in a rut and the whole "what's the purpose of life" feeling. Then feeling that way or thinking that way worried me, it was constantly on my mind that because I was thinking that way I'd never enjoy life or laugh or feel joy etc. Then that fear was almost worse than the sadness. That's when I decided that fear was telling me that I truly have a want for life and all of its wonders because if I didn't like my "sadness" was making me feel, then I wouldn't fear getting more sad... idk if that makes sense. But anyways once I decided that I started looking into vitamin deficiencies that affect mental health and found out I was deficient in magnesium, vitamin d and b12. So now I take those vitamins daily (they do take time to build up in your system) I also read motivational books like " the magic of thinking big" and many others, I read my Bible everyday, and I pray afterwards asking God to let the verses settle into my mind and soul as the lessons they are meant to be and to calm my mind and bring me peace. Then I started saying to myself anytime a sad thought or fear would come up that those thoughts and fears aren't who I am they are products of my surroundings (political, criminal activity etc) and I tell you what I feel 100% better. I laugh at the smallest things, I smile when I arrive home from work, I smile when I wake up expecting a wonderful day. I feel joy again. Ever since my mental health has been in a happier state I have less stomach problems, headaches, heart racing (all the anxiety symptoms) so mind and body truly match. ❤️ thank you for your videos and making a difference with your words and inspiration!

Hi Michelle, I personally prefer matching bathrooms as it looks like it is more intentional and does not look like the materials have fallen off the back of a truck or are leftovers. A neutral bathroom is also better as you can add pops of colour which are cheaper and easier to change out. If you choose green tiles, when you get sick of them you are stuck with them unless you paint them and who wants to do that after you have laid out all the money to redo it. Bathrooms should not be funky especially if your not staying forever. Better for resale definitely so go classy but add your funky touches in decor. Just my opinion, I like your style so I’m sure it will look great whatever you pick.

Are you a KZbinr? That’s not necessarily true. I have 2 jobs and 3 children. Cleaning every second of my day is not a priority. If you only enjoy watching people clean their perfectly clean homes then I’m sure there is someone out there on KZbin you can watch. I’m cleaning everyday during the renovation… it’s not done yet. @@MichelleOMalley711 I didn't meant to say anything bad about you but what I've seen in KZbin they always have a messy house and it's just unbelievable that their homes get that messy ,, I have 8 childrens from 15 to 13 months old and I have a job as well and I teach my kids so young to pick up their toys and do their beds and always eat in the kitchen table and I also have a routine every day to keep my house clean and organized and meals organized for every day and once a week I do a deep clean and organized in their rooms,, and I do 3 loads of laundry a day to keep up with the laundry and fold it,,, and not mention that my kids have activities after school, and my house never looks like this,, I have 4 dogs and a cat and guess what my house is not like yours.

I can’t believe so many videos showing how you scrub the sink. Just ad some toilet bleach (plain bleach) with cold water for 30 minutes and all the dirt disappears
