Oh, you are so awesome. I love stories with storms. Thank you. Lately my sleep hasn't been so good, as Finnish summer is a very difficult time for me. As Brazilian, I am used to having bright days and dark nights throughout the year. However here in Finland we have no nights at all during summer and I just can't get use to sleeping mask. To make things worse, this year's season is very hot and dry. More than usual, so I can't sleep good because I sweat even with the fun working all night. It is a struggle between hot and cold, as I sweat and then feel cold. But summer is beautiful and although I don't sleep well, I still enjoy these two and half months of the year. 😘💐💖

I am addicted to this story. For months, the mix of retreating to a cozy shower after a pre storm walk on the beach to a cozy storm snuggle session couldn’t make me calmer. I have always been scared of storms. I have most of my life in the south and we have alot of storms/tornadoes. When I saw this story title I was abit reluctant to listen. I am so glad I did. Michelle did you get a new microphone? I noticed that in all of your recent creations, your voice definitely sounds clearer and better. I like it! We've had a lot of storms around here lately, and I saved and replayed this one for those stormy bedtime nights. This story sets the perfect environment, and it was really helpful! Something about intense rainstorms is strangely freeing - the novelty of it all pulls us away from normal routines and feelings. It's like a quick escape from normal reality, and you captured this really well. Whilst listening in bed, I never made it past the 14-minute mark. Coming back now, I really appreciate how you wove in the message about the impermanence of storms in life, and how we should only focus on what we can control. The description of the sounds of the rain pelting across the windows was so accurate, so calming. Thank you for another wonderful sleep story!

Thank you for your thoughtful message! I've changed some of the frequencies and recording practices. I'm glad you enjoy it. I switched microphones about a year and half ago-- my earlier stuff was on a different mic. I've tried to upgrade and grow as the channel grows! I completely agree about the storms-- although we have had constant storms in this city! Every day for a month. Last night I was calling my cat because I thought she was creating havoc in the middle of the night. In actuality, it was the sound of hail on my air conditioner!

Michelle, this is great literature! 👍🏼 If I was still teaching I’d present some of your sleepstories to the department chair for curriculum lesson planning approvals. Students would create stories suited best for them, or for anyone else they wish. Their vocabulary would become so very enhanced, and students would grow emotionally exploring and expressing their developing human nature. I know this IS published here, I just hope your work might expand into print (also understand what a lock a few elites have on book publishing). I can envision expanding your most favorited sleepstories into novels someday; or screenplays. I’ve recently dreamt up a rom-com plot for a screenplay. Maybe I should start outlining.

Michelle - I love your work - but something bothered me as I was visualizing your story: 5:22 "you place a dog leash in your palm" - wait - is there a dog? - where is the dog? why do we have a dog leash without a dog? Hope to settle this matter of uncertainty.

To clarify - tropical storm is not just a thunderstorm! I live in south Florida, and have had literal trees fall on my home while I’m in it….. so…… perhaps just the wrong title… 😐 65 mph winds are not relaxing
