i have not watched clannad, yet. upon hearing this song, this instrumental, it has a different vibe. it gives me goosebumps. when i read the comments, a lot of people are describing similar to what i feel, but i find it funny when i see posts about crying over a dumpling song. and so i searched what the lyrics of this song mean. and yeah, funny it is, this song is indeed literally about the dumpling family. anyway, it's a song and im okay with the instrumental. i love it.

2009. 12 years ago. Time passes so quickly nobody truly acknowledges it. Nobody wants to acknowledge that in 2 years, the year that was considered to be the golden age of basically everything, 2012, will have been a century ago. Time passes so quickly nobody is even able to acknowledge just how fast it did. But, does anyone really want to? I know that, deep inside me, there is a part of me screaming at the world to stop, to let me live in these small hours just a little longer. But that would be unfair. I know time is going fast, faster than i could possibly imagine, but i have to face that. I'm not the only one living life, i'm not the only who wants to experience things, see things and do things. It would be selfish of me to keep time all to myself. As painful as it might be, i have to let time pass. I have to let it wiz by as great aspects of my life and childhood grow older and older and i'm confronted with the realization that my life is only going to get harder. I have to, because to do otherwise would be selfish. The clock ticks not just for me. Some have barely even started ticking. Time is something we must take the upmost value of, because you'll never know just how little you have until it's too late.

you know, I remember when I clicked on the first episode of this anime. I listen to Tomoya talk about his life, I witnessed his very first Interaction with Nagisa and I was like "alright, this seems like it'll be decent" little did I realize what an amazing and heart wrenching story I was about to be told. This show really touched something in me, it gave me hope, it took that hope away. I got angry while watching this and felt immense joy too. this really is a very special show and so is this song. I know that I will never be able to listen to it like its any old song now. It comes with a bittersweet sadness, and thats okay. I love Clannad and its characters and i'm hold a firm belief that everyone should watch it.

Clannad. Has to be one of the greatest animes of all time. Te story is just amzing, the momens are serious, funny, and all in all, adorable. Nagisa's parting has to be the saddest thing all watchers of this anime had to see.. I rarely cry at anything, but this...that moments where her hand just dropped.... my heart was in two.... and I couldn't bear to hold it in at all... I bawled

My roommate asked if someone in my family died or something I was crying so hard.
