B4 OSU pulled away in the 4th qtr, Northwestern ran the ball up OSU's DL like a sieve can't stop water from flowing (especially in windy conditions). Absolutely masterful adjustments made at halftime by Michigan's coaching staff. Pure domination in the second half, and as soon as we started getting some good runs midway through the 3rd quarter I knew that it was over. Great discipline by Michigan as well. Not only did we not take any stupid penalties, even when we got punched in the mouth during the first half and couldn't do anything we stayed calm and didn't let anything get to us.

Not only did the coaching staff make good adjustments but the team did an excellent job in executing those changes. J.J. McCarthy did well in recognizing the D was committing an extra defender in the box, seeing he had one on one coverage in the secondary and made big throws in critical situations. Michigan's defense, the secondary in particular, also had a great second half. Mike Sainristil's pass break up on that ball intended for Stover in the end zone was a turning point in the 4th quarter.

From what I have seen these past two times that Michigan and Ohio State have played, Jim Harbaugh's plan to finally beat Ohio State was not with flash but winning the trenches on the offensive and defensive lines. I think the last two games, Michigan has just carved up Ohio State's run defense. I think in the 2021 game, Hassan Haskins had like 5 touchdowns and then Donovan Edwards had two long touchdown runs in this game.

As a Nebraska fan and alumni there are two teams I hate in the Big10: Iowa and OhioSt. It was a sweet win By Nebraska yesterday, it is really awesome to see OhioSt beatdown like this today. No excuses for OhioSt like last year: Oh it was cold and snowing😅. Michigan beat OhioSt soundly on their home field in good conditions.

As a Michigan fan, I honestly feel like OSU could have been the better team, but giving up 5, 70+ yard touchdowns is unbelievable. I would not be shocked if they fire Jim Knowles after one year because that defensive scheme he bragged about the entire year was pitiful. OSU has the talent and recruiting to hang with ANYONE, but their coaching staff right now sucks.
