Good point. I don't agree with they would beat every Big 10 team and D1 schools regulary. But I do think they could hang in many conferences mid standings. Even the big 10/12, etc. Because most conf have 2 or 3 great teams and then a huge drop. SEC maybe 4-5. It would be interesting to watch.

i agree completely. michigan didnt play bad Appalachian just outplayed them. people need to respect my college more, we may be 1aa but were damn good. i just think people have a hard time admitting that a 1aa team can and is better than alot of division 1 teams.

And I'd only have to add this to that statement, App St of 07 could hang with some of the mid to lower teams in those conferences YES! But not year in year out, even the subpar recruiting classes of those bottom tier top conference teams recruit better "year to year" App St would graduate guys and face some 1-10 and 2=9 years for sure... Still, a BEAUTIFUL WKND for App St and their fans!

Actually Michigan is the BEST team in NCAA history with more wins and national titles than any other team in the country.
