Please continue to keep the KZbin version of the film study available until major kinks in the autograph app are fixed. The full-screen mode doesn’t work properly-when I try to enter full-screen, it fast-forwards the video, and I can’t easily rewind. I hope Tom Brady's team can resolve these issues soon. Sam, keep up the great work! I love the breakdowns with Al, Vance, and Devin.

I have the same issue and have placed a trouble ticket with them. Have had emails back and forth with the tech looking into it. Hopefully they will get it resolved.

I wonder if they have set Alex for failure by not giving him enough game time with RPO throws etc. He did show his arm and that was on Moore (DG was right about that). I can only hope that Alex can complete in the 50s like Denard. He is also not as fast as Denard (by a long stretch!). I believe he can get 4-5 yards a pop. If he can complete some short passes and one or two deep ones (they will be there against a stacked box, which WILL be what every opponent does), then we will have a team. Right now there is too much pressure on the D to not make ANY mistakes. Pressure is directly proportional to Temperature (basic physics gas law!).

Al do you think a lot of miss direction plays will help Alex feel more comfortable and gain confidence?

There's no question in my mind that a portion of their offense must be dedicated to misdirection . There are several things they can do with their plus one run game that can involve misdirection

Regardless of how Orji does, it will not change him as a human being. He is a good person and nothing will change that. He will be successful in life. I will bet on that. Whether he succeeds on the field...??? I cannot bet on that.

Michigan’s best offense moving forward will be sideline-to-sideline misdirection with a deep pass option.

Al, what would your plan be for a first time starting QB in Orji to handle pressures and sim pressures? If I am USC, I am getting after you for 4 quarters. There is 0 probability that I am playing it safe and letting a new QB find his footing in this game. Not to mention that UM has shown to be vulnerable to missing blitz pickups this year.

Great question- a key component in this game is to stay out of must pass situations where they can mesmerize the quarterback with exotic looks. Efficient runs on early downs will keep them in basic defenses. Multiple shifts and motions can tend to tip off their looks and is part of Michigan's offensive culture.

This will probably be the least useful film study going forward because the offense is going to be run by a different qb running a different offensive philosophy. Passing offense will probably be rpo and playaction based. Along with designed qb runs that were not there before.
