Ichigan lost is offensive line, QB, and running back. They lost 18 out of 22 starters. They lost their head coach, half of their offensive coaches and all of their defensive coaches. Harbaugh pulled a Pete Carroll. They're looking at 7-5 or 6-6 record, and we shouldn't be surprised.

I’ve always liked Indiana football. Wasn’t so much a Bobby Knight fan and basketball fan, being a Wisconsin fan, although he did come up here to hunt at times. I wasn’t ready to become an Indiana football believer this year right out of the chute with the new staff and all the transfers, but they seemed to have pulled it off. Good for them!

Indiana is looking good. Still not sure about their defense since they haven't went up against a good offense yet, but their offense looks like they can score on just about any defense.

We said all summer USC made a massive change in culture with the amazing defensive staff, but people brushed us off, and kept the same narrative (USC won't be physical enough for the Big 10). This week is when the narrative will truly shift. When USC wins this week, they have to be considered #2 in the conference behind OSU at least after 4 weeks.

Michigan has a qb issue. They also lost their runningback to the nfl. They have a whole new system. No coach on any level has been successful this soon given the situation. Wolverine fans may be delusional. It took harbaugh some yrs and lost salary before he took a chip.
@dustinschalk88254 күн бұрын
agreed. Though I will say the loss of corum , as legendary as he was , isn’t as big of a loss (seemingly) because mullings seems to be very very good . The o line is not as good but mullings still seems to get work done when given a chance . But Kirk Campbell doesn’t seem as dedicated to running at all costs the way Harbaugh was . They still run but…I think it’s ironic that when we had a top 10 qb they seemed to hardly pass and we’re willing to completely abandon the pass if needed . Now that we have the worst qb play we have had in over a decade , they seem committed to forcing the pass more so than they have in a while 😂 I’m all for making sure to get the qb reps , but idk . I’m no fair weather fan. In my mind they have earned some patience after the last few great years , but something definitely seems off. Not surprising that we struggle after all we lost , but just fhe decision making by the coaches . What do I know though. I only only play college football video games on varsity difficulty 😂😂

Man, Michigan has an everything issue. Coaching staff is horrible. Coordinators are not good at all. Doesn't look like there's really any development. Offensive line, especially the right side, is beyond horrible. QB situation is on the coaches. WR's look lackluster . Defense a lot of the times can't stop anything. D-line has a hard time getting to the QB. Wink is not a good coordinator at all. This isn't the worst QB lineup we've had in a decade. They weren't great the first 3-4 years under Jim.
@jocamadad4 күн бұрын
I'm not delusional. I knew they wouldn't be NC caliber this year, but I sure didn't think they'd look this bad especially on the defensive side of the ball. Texas could've easily put 50 or more on them if they wanted to and them giving up 18 points to Arkansas State is just pathetic. Wink Martindale was way overhyped. I think even Don Brown was a better DC. His defenses only looked lost against good teams. Martindale's defense looks lost all the time.

I agree but disagree also. Nick Saban and Kirby Smart haven't had any problems with a team with less experience and new players
@atrain1324 күн бұрын
@@ChimichangaGuy That's because they've been paying players to win. Which is why Nick finally retired. He's no good in the NFL, and he can't stay competitive paying players under the table, and recruiting all the others by brand, and locking them in so no one else can get them.
@marks28074 күн бұрын
As a Michigan fan our games are hard to watch. Being we have had a top 20 or better recruiting class the last 4 years I don't think it is a talent issue. I personally think it is a coaching issue. I’m having a hard time seeing another win on Michigans schedule. The talent is there, but the fire is gone. This lies squarely on the coaches IMO. Something’s has to change. Someone in that locker room has to find a way to get them to believe in themselves. If I’m being honest, I sensed it in their demeanor in the preseason interviews this year but brushed it off and stayed hopeful.. but now.. man.. I just don’t know.. I really don’t want to go back to the Hoke years..
