Great hunt! I like how you kept camera rolling on him even though you may not have been able to see the deer. There’s been a few times where I could pick up things on the video I didn’t see in the stand. Nice job!

@markadevereaux thank you...I definitely pick up little things on camera...it can be hard to focus on the small things with all the excitement that you go through when u shoot a deer.

Back when I was younger I started hunting in public land,my dad always said if you can kill state lands buck you are a good hunter, because of the deer being very smart.goid job and tight lines to you and may your arrows 🏹 fly straight.

Good job congrats on that public land buck. I only hunt public land and I know how you feel when you get a chance at a buck. Keep it up I enjoy the videos. And oh thanks for the tip on the stover dry bag I really enjoyed it for fishing this year on lake michigan.

@landrywilkinson1869 not being mean at all...I have had better luck with more mature deer for sure...but I have had luck with some younger ones as well...depends on how territorial the buck is.

I've killed quite a few bucks on public land and 98.9% of them were within 50 to 100 yards of being able to see hunter access or even the parking areas...Also I noticed they try not to come out in the open whatsoever as opposed to private land..Good Kill too...

@ldunski Thank you...Public Land Bucks are another bread in my mind. They definitely try to stick to cover and are way more careful with where they go and when they go to it.

I would take that deer any day on public land or private.Nice to see your family enjoys venison.I actually like venison round steak for steak sandwiches,sliced thin,it is much more tender than beef round steak.

@novchild1968 yes it's just my phone...as for the arm and head I don't remember...it was given to me years back and i cant find a name on it. It's nothing crazy, I'm actually looking for a new one that is more smooth.
