Buckeye fan here and followed coach Dantonio since he was at YSU with Tressel years ago. Happy that MSU honored him. I love the way Coach Smith is building this program and I will be cheering for MSU against the other team up North. MSU played really hard and will make a lot of positive noise going forward and could be in a big bowl this year. I love Big Ten football! Go Spartans!

I was honestly waiting for a clumsy MSU thing to happen like it usually does right around the Chiles fumble. You guys showed a lot more intensity and fight for sure, I think Chiles will be one of the better MSU QBs in a while. Jeremiah Smith is just an unfair NFL player and there's not much most teams can do to stop him really. Gg

@@osubucknut100 that one handed td catch he made was insane. Weak side corner sprinting blitz times perfectly, coverage fantastic, high pressure, off balance throw and he plucks it out of thin air. It was a dagger but anyone upset about our d on that one is a moron.

The offensive game plan was awesome. Kept OSU off balance with 12 personnel and Chiles is great throwing over the middle. Just bad execution in spots. I think MSU will spoil some teams this year and is on the path for good things in the future. This guy was an A+ hire as HC.

I'm a Buckeye fan, but like what I'm seeing from Sparty. Chiles is a good one and think you guys competed really well. Had a few bounces gone your way, that's a different/tight game. Think Jonathan Cooper's instilling a good culture and you guys will win games you aren't necessarily favored in. Loved to see Dantonio be honored, we will always love that man for his time as a Buckeye. Best of luck to you guys, particularly against the cheaters to your east!!

Ohio states receivers are freaking unbelievable there’s no way you guys don’t win the Big Ten this year.
@brianschultz-e2cКүн бұрын
The Offense was moving the ball in the first half thanks to Aiden Chiles. Unfortunately, not making the 4th & 1 and then the fumble by Veiling after his catch seemed to change the tone of the game. When playing a superior opponent, your only chance to stay in the game is to capitalize on every opportunity and that did not happen. If MSU can play a game this season where they capitalize on every scoring opportunity AND avoid the turnover and big busts on defense, they will win. So many things have to go right for MSU to beat a good opponent this season. It will be interesting to see if MSU can play such a game this Season.

Def. a rebuild year. Chiles WILL get better with each game. Best we can hope for this season is a bowl game and for the TO's to decrease but watch out next year. Recruiting is bound to significantly improve as well. Should still be able to beat little sister as long as we decrease the TO's and penalties but that's a huge IF. I think most people believe that eventually this team (offense) is really going to click. It's just a question of when that happens.

Coach Smith this was tough lost last night losing to Ohio State the way we did but I believe in this team and I believe this coaching staff will regroup and get the guys ready to play next week against Oregon and prepare them well for the rest of the season the refs where HORRIBLE! Last night I gave credit to OSU they are a very talented team but if the ball bounces our way and we didn't turn the ball over as much as we did it could have been different. Chiles needs to learn ball security and put the ball away when needed we have to clean up the turnovers and get off to a fast! start against teams like OSU in the future.
