M Man here. In the late 2010s I had grown numb to all the losses to OSU. Had to hang our Great Lake State hats on the fine 2014 Rose Bowl win by the Sparties. I want you guys to know that when Ohio State, a fellow Big 10 team was in those Nat. Champ games I was for The Buckeyes all the way! Had to listen to all kinds of sh*t about the Big 10 Being no good or sucking for decades. I always thought it was Bullsh*t. Personally I am undefeated in Bowls with the Wolverines. Went to Pasadena in 1989 and 1993, both wins. Been a long time so as you can imagine it does feel good to see Michigan enjoying success. But I must admit that Ryan Day is hard to take. So these last 2 wins were sweet for us. But I feel like you guys are just like me and my buds. And you yell "F%&k!" with the best of them. So like the other M Men in here I wish you all the Best. 🙂 Think I'll sub.🙂

Same here. Props to you both. I think, if you look at the lead-up to the game, the media, Vegas, nobody gave Michigan any respect. Frankly, the arrogance led to this...starts at the top. Time for Day to go back to 1st base. My wife and I were watching the game by jumping around KZbin, trying to find a live feed that hadn't yet been struck down while driving home from a week with family for Thanksgiving. Honestly, it took me a long time to relax while watching. Same as last year, I had this fear we would choke in the final minutes. UM fan/alum here...I know it had to be difficult but great job on the video. I'm 41 and you guys both look like you're in your 20s. I know how a loss like this feels when you've only known domination in this rivalry. It is very easy to take this game for granted when everything seems so easy. I was a teenager during the 90s/Cooper years and 22 when Michigan won the 100th meeting not realizing what the next 18 years would bring. I doubt OSU will have to suffer that long before things swing back in your favor, but trust me when I say that these bad times won't last forever and will make your next victory in this game that much sweeter when it does happen. I thought the key play was when it was 31-20 in the 4th quarter and Sainristil managed to knock the ball out of Stover's hands in the endzone. Otherwise it would have been anyone's game after that. That was a great play but I thought it turned in the 3rd quarter when OSU got the holding penalty and the unsportsmanlike penalty when they started at midfield and got pushed 35 yards back at 24-20 and had to punt then we come back and scored. Once JJ ran in it I saw the safety whiff and didn’t want that contact. Go back and watch the td run and see our O line and JJ ran past him to score

As a Michigan guy in ohio I love to see it but at halftime only down 3 getting the ball I was feeling confident especially with the defense osu was playing they decided the run wouldn’t beat them in the first half and that’s probably a good choice considering last year but you can’t play cover 0 or 1 that much and not get burnt the last two runs that sealed it were pretty much just icing. Now as a big ten guy I would have preferred the game to be closer because I am sick of the sec getting two teams in and every other conference getting disrespected if the 4 now don’t all win mainly usc I would love to see a Michigan v tcu Georgia v osu semifinals and would love nothing more than to see the game again this year for the natty.

Here are my reaction to the reaction: "I do not think JJ McCarthy is any good" That did not age well. JJ has been suspect on deep throws all season. But this game, he was lights out. He started the race for the Heisman during this game. Pre-game: "They (OSU's Defense) are going to stack the box to stop the run" During game on the long pass "Were is everyone?" "Everyone" is trying to stop the run while JJ and crew are lighting it up. Knowles gambled on stuffing the box and "force" JJ to beat him. Well JJ did beat him Just think, UM 2 best players (Corum and Morris) did not play. Can you imagine the score if they did play?

As a Michigan fan I gotta respect posting this. I don’t think I could’ve done it but it was painful for sooooo long for us. Last year was cathartic and it finally shut up the negative media commentary on Harbaugh. I can say I always supported him and felt he was the guy and if he couldn’t break through at some point then no one could. This year was the first year in a very long time where I felt good the week leading up to the game. I honestly had no clue how the game was going to play out but it just feels good to be good every year again.

1. I give you props for posting this. 2. OSU sold out to stop the run to avoid a repeat of last year. It left the secondary vulnerable. And then in the 4th, once run fits weren’t made in the run game, there were no safeties to stop Edwards. 3. Michigan held OSU to 3 points after half. Great defensive adjustments by Michigan. I watched this with bad intentions, wanted to revel in the win and am walking away liking these guys. After so many years watching the boys in blue get smacked it’s easy to get lost in a rivalry/and it’s just a game. Great video! Thanks for posting it. You think the rivalry loses its luster with the expanded playoffs? I don’t think we will ever see a Michigan / Ohio state game with the same playoff implications as this year.. I think there will always be a healthy level of dislike but, will it ever match this?

Michigan fan, mom was from Canton, OH. Grew up with respect for this greatest of all rivalries going back to the Toledo War in the early 1800’s! Will cheer for your team in your bowl game, see you next year at The BIG House! Good game, good sportsmanship …. Remember, we all hate the SEC! Merry Christmas and Happy new gents!
