I would not track this deer for 12 hrs if possible. I track deer with a dog. They do t go far if not pushed. I have found several with bad penetration and no vitals. They bleed out in their beds many times. I only say this because he did not know where exactly. If you got it it will still be there. Found several still alive after 5 hrs (sometimes the weather or the hunter doesn’t permit.lol)
