The first deer I have harvested a lot of deer over the years I'm sixty two years old but that first deer at nine years old I will never forget cherish the moment because that's what memories are made for it's not always about the hunt

This deer hunting thing brings out the best of any seasoned hunter but for the newest of hunter's it will be the first buck kill that they remember forever. Congrats young lady. That pure excitement never gets old. Jake it's a special hunt for you that you will embrace for years to come, not only for finally getting that brute but for you acknowledging that it was the same day your brother left us and that's awesome that you believe that it wasn't just a coincidence. Keep them videos coming fellas we can't get enough of them. Be safe out there.

Great hunt video. Are hunters allowed to shoot two bucks each in Michigan?

I’m confused, I thought bucks had to have three points on one side…. How can you shoot spikes?

It can be pretty confusing. Depending on where you are in the state, you can shoot a buck with at least one antler that is 3 inches or longer with your unrestricted tag.

How did he get a blind that far back up the river?

Same way he got the deer out. Canoe. The blind is made out of 1”x1” for framing and the walls are made of foam board. It’s extremely light weight. We’ll be doing a build video later this summer because you can also put back pack straps on it.
