Thank you sir! Old man lifelong Michigan fan here. Took my son down to Miami couple years ago to watch the Mich-UGa Orange Bowl game. It was apparent right from the opening kickoff that we were hopelessly outmatched by y'all. Kirby could have put 50+ points on us if he'd wanted to. But one thing I prominently remember about that game was the class and civility of the Georgia fans. Respect. 👍

I've been watching for 52 seasons since 1972 as a freshman at Michigan. No words can adequately describe the pride that I feel for all those young men who put Team above all else and whose off the field work makes them Michigan Men far beyond their accomplishments on the field. They embody Bo's mantra to the fullest. Regardless of what the future holds for the coaching staff, this is a singular accomplishment of enormous magnitude that is now forever enshrined in the hearts of all Michigan alumni and fans. The photo of Team 144 that will sit beside the championship trophy at Schembechler Hall, will live forever in Michigan's long and glorious football history. Hail!

Can't help but remember my freshman year at Bursley dorm in the North Campus. Was too poor to get even a single ticket to go to a game at the Big House. Felt bitter then about it, thought the school should have given me free tickets. Have been following the Wolverines ever since. Been let down too many times to count. When I went to U of M, season tickets were available at a student rate. It was $15 for a season ticket to the home games. They did that to ensure the stadium was "sold out" for every game to keep the consecutive 100,000+ in attendance for each game.

I was so pissed off that Tom Osborne announces retirement right after the Nebraska Tennessee game in '97. had it not been for that, no way would Nebraska have got any of the votes they needed. Your "stat" about the ranked teams beaten is silly and WRONG. First of all, prior to the Penn St game, Michigan had played 9 games, AND NONE OF THEM WERE RANKED!! Your non con schedule was a soft marshmallow joke, and the B10 sucked beyond the top 2 teams. Here are the last 6 games Mich played: W @ #9 Penn St W @ UNRANKED Maryland. You were wrong. Maryland was unranked at the time they played. W #2 Ohio St W # 18 Iowa B10 "CHAMP" (UTTER JOKE, MEANINGLESS) W #4 Bama W #2 Wash 1. So the ranked W streak to end the season is not 5. Its 4 in a row. And they beat all 4 of those teams when they were undefeated. Miami was #1 at the time and defending NC. USC was 10-0 ranked #2 in last game of season @ USC. West Virginia was 11-0 ranked #3 in NC Fiesta Bowl game. So Notre Dame beat the winner of the Rose Bowl (Michigan); the winner of the Orange Bowl (Miami); and ND won the Fiesta Bowl. ND beat the B10 Champs (Michigan), the Pac10 Champs (USC), and the top 2 Independents (Miami + W Va) aside from themselves. Notre Dame played and beat 4 of the final top 7 teams in the nation. In contrast, Michigan's big Ws were against the final #2 (Wash), the final #5 (Bama), and the final #10 (Ohio St, who got hosed in the Cotton Bowl). That's no where close to what Notre Dame did in 1988. Michigan beat 3 of the final top 10. Notre Dame beat 4 of the final top 7. And Notre Dame didn't have to cheat to accomplish that.😮

The truth is, Michigan was on the losing side of the "spread" by 3 games before this cheating scandal began. Then suddenly they flipped their record by 180 degrees, doubling their wins against losses. This is why U.S. Integrity and the F.B.I. was in their crib. Does this mean they might have lost against teams they beat this past couple years? It's hard to say. I think we can all agree that the chances would be greater for an upset if all teams were on a level playing field with the rules. But the reality is, Michigan has a large fan base. So their fans will bring a shit ton of money in the post season from a possible Natty. Just think of the merchandise alone that will be sold. They were NOT going to exclude them from the post season where the money is made! I believe that if any punishment comes, it will be later when all of the dust settles and it will be some meaningless asterisk next to their championship in the record books. Harbaugh was brilliant at playing the victim card since that's what carries the most currency in our culture now.

J.J. will be a way better pro though. Much more upside. Chad was a 4 year starter. Personally, I would have started J.J. in 21" to shorten the learning curve. I'd take J.J. over Chad any day. J.J. possesses the intangibles that gives him the edge. Having said that I would have thrown more with all the weapons Henne had at his disposal. Michigan was loaded with elite receivers on his teams. Remember the Mich vs Florida bowl game. That's how I wanted Lloyd Carr to do it every week. I used to be pissed that they didn't.

Jim Harbaugh came to Michigan and for the first 7 years attempted to out recruit and out talent the competition. He won some games but ultimately it was a failure. I remember all the funny antics he did to recruit kids that were in the news. After the COVID debacle, Jimmy decided the RPO flashbang offense stuff wasn't gonna work because he was never going to out recruit the likes of ohio state and Alabama(and still isn't). He went to his brother and got himself an NFL defense. First Mike McDonald and then Jesse Minter. He did away with the pass happy offense and went with being strong in the running game and started recruiting big boys in the trenches. Jimmy ressurected 3 yards and a cloud of dust. He went back to fundamental ugly as hell football. It has ABOLSUTELY worked! When you face Michigan, you're facing the Baltimore Ravens on defense. Is having an NFL defense in college considered cheating? In an era where everyone is passing for a million yards and throwing 80 yard bombs after clearing the shelf at the 5 star imporium, here's Michigan just beating everyone up playing smashmouth bully ball. Michigan won by doing nothing more than blocking and tackling the entire year. Not only did Michigan win this year, football won this year.

For people that can’t understand us rabid Michigan football fans I will say this…During covid since 2020 I lost 4 family members in 3 years. But my Mom got to see Michigan win the Big 10 Championship in 2021. She passed two days later. And Pop got to see part of this year’s run but he didn’t get to see them win it all yesterday. As he passed not long ago. During these extremely difficult times Michigan football was an extremely bright spot in our lives. My grandfather was a season ticket holder most of his adult life. He had 5 seats. So we rotated going to home games as a family. It was something that we shared a lot of joy doing together. And I know that my grand parents, parents and my sister and brother in law did witness this too even though they are not here. So to me Michigan football is more then just a sport. It is life itself! What's really funny is Michigan never had a treasure chest of 5 star players and was for the most part always on everybody's ass. The truth is Michigan has always been a high academic entity and look at all the talent that has been through there in all sports. You really don't wanna imagine where the championships would be if they looked the other way at scholastic standards. I applied and got in to Michigan as an out of state student. I know how hard that was as a student. I chose Notre Dame. I also know that its all a big wink for football and basketball players. You want to talk about academics, check out Notre Dame's stats and the obstacles they have to deal with. Classes of 2000 instead of 15>20,000. Insane test score averages. Virtually impossible to transfer in as an undergrad. Don't whine to me about Academic standards. I know, believe me.

Being at Houston, seeing the Michigan-gray throughout the day, then witnessing a dominant performance by the offensive run game, and defensive secondary was the best way to end an incredible journey!
