Just remember, no player, no coach, no podcaster is bigger than the team. The team, the team, the team.. I think Steve is getting excited about a future that doesn't exist yet and writing off the present in a way that is degrading to the players and current staff. Not to mention fans. Buying championships usually doesn't work. You still have to recruit for the system and coaches you have in place. Are the coaches and A.D. going to sit down and make rational choices together based on what they want to do and recruit accordingly? Steve seems to be caught in the thinking that to solve a problem you just throw money at it. While talent is important you have to have an organization that is committed to winning and understands what it takes. In today's world of instant gratification that is getting harder to come by. Unlike many fans who are really in it for themselves, we should still appreciate this team and what they have done this season. There is still a lot to be proud of with this team than just winning. They've stuck together and have improved. I just don't think the coaches ever figured out how to use their talent effectively. All the talent in the world is not going to change poor coaching decisions... The future Steve is getting excited is not here yet. And we likely still will have a lot of the same problems we have today... In my opinion...

Recruiting looks great, but any concern that some of these players could leave the program if a post-season ban eventually gets imposed by a VERY slow moving NCAA?... NCAA just granted a 30 day extention to their "Notice Of Allegation" they sent 3 months ago, so couldn't a ruling be drawn out even longer with nothing totally resolved for several MONTHS?... Then following an eventual ruling, kids may choose to leave the program if they are unable to play in the post season. 🤔 Thoughts on that being a possibility because my guess is, won't be able to keep EVERY recruit if it is determined the team actually wont be able to play in the post-season for a couple of years?... 🤔 ...how much $$$ will be spent on NIL?... Would they only get a potion or even have to give $$$ back?... This "extention" just kicks a ruling futher down the road/concerned this could get messy?...

Mark is just "playing it up" as the all important rivalry... truth be told, UM fans are not the loonie tunes NUTS that Buckeye fans are (arrogant, sure, loonie tunes, not in the least). OSU fans have no other true rival, therefore they only look at THIS game as THE Game, whereas UM fans truly believe, if we win GREAT, and if not, oh well, we'll play again next year and see how that works out. (Buckeye fans are the Hilliary Clinton of the Big Ten, exclaiming "HOW COULD WE POSSIBLY LOSE TO TTUN, we were BORN to be the winners of every UM/OSU game!!!"). For those who don't remember, Hilliary said she was "born to be POTUS" shortly after losing to Trump... but I digress. Let's face it, OSU putting a $20 million squad out on the field against a team that has been in disarray for most of the 2024 season, SHOULD be able to "hang a hundred" on such a squad if they don't play "scared". So I am looking for a score of 100 to 10 as the final. Would that bother me? Not in the least. If UM paid $20 million for a team to beat OSU, I would expect a lopsided score too. So, have your day OSU, you PAID for it! 🤣🤣🤣
