I really admire your thoughtful commentary on the scenery. Last time I was here was 20 years ago with my family, it’s nice recalling the storefronts I visited back in the day when I was a kid. Your walkthrough really filled in my memory gaps!

Of all of the tour videos I have seen of Six Flags Great america, I really have to say I think your narration is the most charismatic and exciting. You sounded like you were having a fun time and glad to be there which really made the video that much better.

Thanks for the blog! I'm heading there on Monday. American Eagle is closed (at least partly because) the queue area is where Sky Striker is going in. I figure they will be redoing the entrance areas for both these attractions. Also now that school is finishing up for the year they'll have more employees coming on, so that's probably why some of them were closed until they are fully staffed for summer. Great blog!

I’ve been going here since the mid 90’s and am glad they’ve kept a lot of the older rides. Was sad to see Shockwave torn down for Superman, but better that than Whizzer! Too bad you couldn’t experience it this time around.

Goliath is a bit like hyperia . Short fast n sweet. Lots of hangtime. Glad you enjoyed your time. And so agree ablut the pop music in the park! They should restrict it to a few sections. Used to play clasic americana music parkwide
