well thank you very much. I'm whittling down my stash making many garments. some I'm keeping, some going to charity and one or two selling in vinted. it's a lovely feeling seeing the stash starting to look much more manageable. 😜👍😘

It's such a great feeling when you finally get a pattern to fit your measurements and that you can use over and over, adding your own artistic tweaks. Pattern fitting is so time consuming, but worth it in the end. Your dresses are wonderful, Michou! Thanks for sharing and inspiring. 👗Bernadette

Thanks Bernadette. I'm definitely finding Lekala and sewist patterns so much easier to fit my body when they're constructed to my own measurements. I know I could do My own toile but why waste time when sewist can do it for me? 😉😘

thanks Louise. I'm just trying to use up my stash as much as possible. I'll be leaving some for the winter months and possibly next year, but it's nice to see I'm creating something that either I can wear or I can donate or sell on, even if it's for only a few pennies. And yes, now the better weather has come I'm enjoying wearing dresses at the moment.😉😘👍

well I'm going to have to start wearing dresses for the winter because I've got so many of them. but thankfully the new fashionist to wear trousers underneath them so that will keep me extra warm in the winter months. 😜👍😉❤️

Just love all the dresses you’ve made. I’m finishing up a shift dress. Also started working on my real boot strap pants form. I had to fuse interfacing to 2.5 yards of fabric. What a job. I put a pad on my cutting table and made it a giant ironing board to make the job easier. Tomorrow hopefully I can get the pieces cut out & labeled. I did a practice version a couple months back and been wanting videos and reading instructions from the Bootstrap site so it should go good I hope. First cataract surgery on Thursday.

From one voluptuous lady to another the dark blue and white jersey dress is the most flattering on you. I think it’s down to the print being small allowing you to see the style and fit better.

Lekala has designs already created and you can input your own measurements and sewist.com you design the garment yourself. both worth looking at. If only for the personalised measurements which you may slightly have to tweak but not as much as other patterns and the price usually no more than $3. 👍😉😘
