Mick Foley's series of return matches in 2004. Mick Foley and Conrad Thompson unpack everything surrounding WrestleMania 20 and Backlash 2004. Topics cover everything from Randy Orton, Ric Flair, the Rock, Willem Dafoe, Bray Wyatt, Maxx Payne, and Marlon Brando's stick of butter. This mega episode details a disappointing handicap tag followed by Mick's personal favorite match of his career in a brutal no-holds-barred battle with Randy Orton.

To me, this feud is still the most successful case of an older wrestler taking a younger wrestler under their wing and making them a superstar with the fans. Randy is my favourite wrestler ever, but even I can admit that he was a nobody before the feud with Mick. Evolution certainly helped, but it was the months of disrespecting Mick, and ultimately culminating with Randy being taken to school in the No Holds Barred match, that resulted in him becoming a made man.

So many wrestlers owe it to Mick Foley for helping make them famous. He made Triple H, Edge and Randy Orton main event players each in one match. He turned the Undertaker from a main event player to a legend in one match. He had other memorable matches with The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Shawn Michaels.
