Other games shy away from open ended combos and put limits and restrictions to balance the game... This game allows for ultimate freedom of expression and allows you to combo everything into everything else. It's so bold and radical. It was in the 90s and it remains till date. There is nothing like this game - and fighting games will forever owe a great deal to this legendary "franchise" of just 3 games - 3 were more than enough to cement its place in the annals of fighting game history. I would love an update tho 😂 I think the only real challenge that future installments of this game face is that KI 2013 is just so good - where do they go from here ? How can they improve something so unique and near perfect ? Only time will tell...

Yeah man, their art and animation department has been awesome but their writing and music staff are underwhelming lately. At least in the early MK games, the music was still memorable. MK11 is the epitome of lazy, convoluted writing and half-assed musical scores. The music in MK11 almost feels like a bootleg version of the Avengers theme at times. Come to think of it, MK: Aftermath is also like a lazy writer's version of Endgame.

To find it randomly, in the windows game store and then later across multiple platforms I've made it a point to get as many people as possible to experience this masterpiece of a title. The combat so fluid, but with the soundtrack...God, Mick you went above and beyond with the tracks. Don't ever stop being the god send of music you are. You're what ties together a great experience and elevates it to a completely new level!

2014, made good use of a well payed job to go to EVO (from Argentina, so quite a trip). I remember entering the room, lights were low and this started to play at full volume. Unlimited goosebumps! One of my best memories from the trip and the real moment when I felt the money was well spent. Thank you Mick for that experience.
