What a joy it was to have stumbled upon my two very favorite authors in the same ZOOM for an hour. Thank you, so much, for bringing this together. I've just begun the Secret Hours book, but I'm coming to the end of Sanford, which makes me sad. I've got 4 Virgils to go and there must e more Lettys. An hour well spent.

Just finished The Secret Hours and I think it’s my favourite of the series. Heavenly at times, shocking plot developments, satisfying complexity, and Easter eggs for fans. What an epic. But I wouldn’t recommend that you watch this episode until you’ve read the book. Best to come to it fresh.

Was hoping the other two participants would have had more to say. This was really a bit boring and particularly I find British speakers tend to let their voice fade away and you can hardly hear the last words of a senrence or paragraph. . Even those on the BBC World News. What John says about the difference between writing and the readers seeing in their mind's eye how and what happens , compared to viewers od a tv show watching the same from the sidelines, so to speak. I can relate. Having said all that, I will stick with Sandford's book.
