Quick story… I was staying on 78th & Essex at the time The Waters came out. At the time I was traveling by bus and so was he. This one morning I’m headed to my homie crib on the 79th street bus and not knowing who this guy was living a block away was sitting right next to me on the bus. He got off on 79th & Jefferey and I proceeded to King Drive. So when I make it to my homie crib he’s watching music videos on tv and the Jazz music video comes on. I instantly recognized this guy Mick from the bus earlier and that moment made me proud. Coming from where we come from it’s not easy to supersede the trenches. Much love & respects king 👑
