I'm 58 and my fiancee' (55) makes me feel and "perform" like a 17 year old. I'm still building rock walls for fun on the weekends, still shovel show off a 100 foot driveway, still split my own firewood. I reckon I'm in better shape that a lot of lads 1/3rd my age whose only exercise is a Xbox.

Awwwww, he looks like the sweetest and happiest old man out there. And even though you don’t have Strummer (RIP), Topper And Simonon bouncing around on the stage and a stadium full of people, he still looks like he feels that he’s playing for a whole stadium. I aspire to be as cool as Mick when I’m an old man. Have a good life Mick, you’re one of music’s greatest treasures

My younger self gravitated towards the angst and weird mystique of Joe, but now I can really appreciate Mick's awesome ability to put together an instantly infectious tune. This and "Train in Vain" are up there with my all time favourites.

This performance and the song is gold dust, before i knew of the Clash i thought this was a 60s track, which kind of drew me to it. I was surprised it was written by a punk band, although they were much more than that and yeah the Pistols were great but the Clash just edged it for me.

So awesome. As a guitarist whose had a strap break on him live (before discovering strap locks), it's so impressive to see him never break a sweat, keep that game face on, and smile through the rest of the song. I LOVE the Clash. I got to see them (post-Mick so not the same) and I would have given anything to see Mick live, especially this close like that. Lucky crowd!

I foresee a time when Mick should be knighted. 'Baron of W.10', would be a better handle though. Probably saw them around ten times between 76-79 when they rocked the World. White Riot tour x 2, M.M. Notre dame hall, Cambs, Peterborough, Lyceum. Others seem to have slipped through the holes. Only moved to Pogo twice, both times to The Clash.......simply the best. Got the snapshot imprinted on my brain from The Rainbow. Darkness, red amp lights winking, lights go up, LONDON'S BURNING -blam-diddley-blam-blam. Cue chaos. Also Peterborough maybe first date on 'Sort It Out' tour. Half full gym. Crashed into Safe European Home. I got blisters on my ear drums. By all accounts a diamond geezer.
