Loved Micks style, tone, and all around sound he provided for the Stones during his short tenure. It’s still my favorite time period for Stones music.

I got my CD copy of this recording signed when I met Mick in June 1990. Good album.

@@lfader dude, Ya Yas is my favorite album, live or studio. It's just such frugking great listening. They were cookin' on every song. Some of the best rhythm guitar/lead guitar parts you'll ever hear is on that one.

@@robertcooney1938 To put this into context loved music bought 45s Lps cassettes CD's but take all the music listened to my entire life I've still listened to Get Yer Ya Ya's Out more than everything combined 🤣🤣🤣 Isolate Taylor's playing from Richards on live with me Hiw do you make that weaving fills and rhythm cadence up ?? He's only 20 there He just joined the Rolling Stones 4/5 months prior who were like the Beatles 👑👑👑 KINGS It's baffles me still .... It's a good baffle ..... 😎

@@lfader yeah, the fact that he's pretty much a kid on that recording is insane. So young and talented, and his first gig with them was the Hyde Park, Brian Memorial concert in front of a gazillion people. That must have been crazy.

@@robertcooney1938 I think prodigy might be a word that comes to play remember Eric Clapton didn't show up for a gig and his rig was at the club that John mayall blues breakers were playing and Mick Taylor probably what 16 17 comes out of the audience and does the set and then slips out the back way and Mayall's got to get his information to recruit him .... That really doesn't happen either 🤣🤣🤣

A good choice, the Stones made to choose Mick Taylor for replacing Brian Jones . To tell you the truth ! I don't know what the Stones would have done if they hadn't chose Mick .😮😊❤

If I’m not mistaken they were first going after Lowell George and he turned them down to form Little Feat. I love Lowell and all but I’m so damn glad it was Mick Taylor.

This would be a pretty good song if Mick stuck to playing guitar and let Jagger sing it.

Nice solo from Mick, rest of the song lacked dynamics.

I've been saying that since the 1970's. I'm 61 yrs old now but i still love blasting the stones albums from their golden era when taylor was their virtuoso guitar player.

Yes Taylor is the best of the Stones lead guitarists but don’t rip on Ronnie. Wood is not a lead player but a rhythm player like Keith. Wood is also a great bassist, pedal steel player, sax player and drummer. He also has written classic hits like Ooh La La and Stay With Me. Taylor can’t write period

@@flyingburritobro68: One of the reasons why taylor left the stones' (besides an attempt to save his life from that "evil sway") was because he never got songwriting credits. My memory fails me but he wrote a number of songs, for one is "moonlight mile".
@ArmandoMPR

@@midnightrider7648 Jagger wrote "Moonlight Mile," whose riff was based on some demo Keith had recorded.

@@ArmandoMPR: As I was saying... Taylor didn't get credits for his song compositions with the Stones. Jagger even begrudgingly said Taylor "may have written a line or two of moonlight mile"
