Just playing these chord changes over and over going up and down the neck is boring so to add a bit of fun I started doing it on a nylon string Ibanez and trying to incorporate some bossa nova rhythms with the right hand. Works great for me! 😊

@The Smelly Tele I don't post videos myself ....I just let others do the work then I steal the good stuff !! 😆 I got the bossa nova idea from watching videos by Latin Guitar Mastery. Instead of going up the neck 1 fret at a time I do like A, F#, B and E positions just to make it more interesting. Doing different invesions makes it more challenging as well. :÷>

I was hoping for this. Thanks Frank. I bought 'Mickey Baker's Complete Course in Jazz Guitar' 60 years ago! I didn't even know a G, C, or D chord. That book taught me to play guitar. No teacher and no recordings: just that book. I didn't even know about using a pick so I only played fingerstyle.

@@popvultureatx5656 I'm a fiddle player. Since I can only play 2 notes at once, I frequently choose the 5th and 3nd or 5th and 7th or usually the 5th and melody note, because the root is already felt from the key, other chords... So I'm used to leaving out the root note.
