It is a sequel to Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse, which was also released for Sega Mega Drive_Genesis

Childhood memories! Played through the game many times. It felt longer than an hour. So many stages, each of them unique.

i played Castle of Illusion so many times, it was one of the few master system titles that i ever completed and could breeze through with only 1 life no problem...I CAN NOT believe i knew nothing about Land of Illusion!!!

I played this game for the first time today and I was SO impressed with how great it was, it was similar to Wario World on the Gameboy in a lot of ways. I was expecting a very simple, linear game but I was gobsmacked by the challenge and thought process. I got to the final boss before finally giving up (the non save or password feature meant I was playing longer than I wanted to!). I will definitely revisit it soon though

MikeyTheMachineGaming I'll probably ask for a Retron 5 for christmas which'll allow me to do that. It does kind of feel like a hollow victory when you complete the game in this way but at the same time I'm not one for spending more than two hours at one time playing a game anymore! I completed Castle of Illusion recently which was a lot shorter. It's not as good but it's still fun. I wanted Legend of Illusion but it's way too expensive on ebay for a second hand master system game

Hi, there's a secret in the first level at 2.45 if you bounce on the snake and kill it when it's against the wall you can walk through the wall at the top if my memory serves me right. Let me know if it's still there I assume this is the original game.
