Mick, very interested in booking Maya Chan Beach Club for an upcoming Carnival Cruise. QUESTION: I'm assuming most customers book in advance on the Website .... can I put a "Deposit" of the full-price on the Website in case something comes up and I don't make it to the beach club?? I am SO VERY upset that I finally found this beach resort as I DO NOT want crowded beaches or excursions and apparently they are closed for 3 months from June 1 to August 31?!?! We are going August 24th. That is perfectly in the middle of summer. Ugh.

I think they are worried about Hurricanes... Luckily we rarely cruise in Summer !! Back here again in December!!

The water is not the cleanest, will not lie, but that is fairly typical of Costa Maya in my experience. Didn't notice the beach being dirty in person to be honest

Seaweed problems are terrible down there (some times). They can only do so much about it.
