Guys i didnt know how to put a shield up (literally in the same way like anything), and how to "defend" with it. Havent discovered that alchemy and enchant is possible etc. I wanted to explore molag mar, started from east side, i lost and i broke shortswords, armor, and was only a dwemer jinksword in my pocket. Was a legionary khajeet with heavy armor and shortswords Lol. Imagine a khajeet in bronze helm and broken armor just enters Suran at the backdoor without even knowing Suran exist.

My favorite thing to do when this came out was to break into the warehouse, drop all the moonsugar and skooma at once, hit icarian flight and just make the world disappear. Jumping straight up, you wouldn't come down for 2mins, you could jump clear off the map space and land in a horror-scape of endless ocean

Oi, going with Steed isn't really an awful idea for any build, especially if it's one you intend to play thoroughly. Getting around can be such a pain in the ass in this game, and it's almost unplayable once you've grown accustomed to having that sorta speed from the get-go.

Once boosted my acrobatics so high that I never hit the ground. Could only tell if I was going up or down by casting spells to see which way the magic trail went. Good times.

I made a ring called "TRAVELER" That fortified jump 500 points and I would easily go from Vivec to Dagon Fel in seconds. I'd just check my map during the trip and do a levitate spell when I hovered over where I wanted. Those silt striders add up.

@@NamelessSoulband Incorrect. Custom spells allow you to apply the Fortify Skill and Fortify Attribute effects to the same skill or attribute multiple times. This lets you go up to… 800 I think with one cast.

Ahh good memories... like that time back in like 03 or 04 I chugged a dozen (after I realized they stacked) skoomas & used the icarus scrolls with some redonkulously magically fortified acrobatic boots or ring (or something, well I thought they were heavily enchanted at the time...lolz... but thats what made ES3 so great... no limits & stacking!) and jumped over Azuras head at her shrine just to see how high & far you could jump... and yes, I went ham after that. It's possible to jump all way past solsthiem from the lower right part of the map. I've jumped from the lower left corner of morrowwind all way up past sheogoraths isles. You can also jump over the ghostfence, and to the top of red mountain... but there was some sort of trickery required. IDR exactly... its been well over a decade since I've had an Xbox to play morrowind... but I still have a unopened game of the year edition of morrowind I had as a backup because I went through 3 copies of morrowind during my addiction phase before my Xbox's died from too many saved morrowind profiles. Morrowwind has always been my favorite. Best magic system ever of any game. Oh... protip... enchant a staff with levitation then equip it just before you hit the ground as an emergency brake. Why pay for transportation when you can just jump there!?! And enchant some rings or boots with varying degrees of acrobatics to fit whatever situation you need jump out of, literally and never, never leave home without your trusty staff of levitation. Edit... oh also I remember you can level superfast by using something (whatever you can get your hands on quickest) to fortify armor (whichever type) and then letting a weak enough creature attack you that so don't die, heal, rest repeat... just remember to level up enough to pay for (here's the rub, getting that gold) skills you can't levelup easily pending your build. I remember that was the best way to get good quick so you can go grand soul gem hunting ASAP.

Just to share something from my very 1st playthrough - I was playing a squishy mage and doing chores for the mages Guild (visit some lady who lived Gods know where). I was jogging there, then got stuck near daedric ruins with enemies I couldn't deal enough damage to. So I did the only reasonable thing and jumped with the super scroll in the quest's approximate direction. I got lucky and landed in some sort of lake, so I took zero falling damage. Haven't encountered much trouble on the way to the mages guild lady.

I swam. Well, everyone already used the scrolls, obviously, so I was trying to do it my own way, and oddly enough it was one of the easier ways. Not a single Slaughterfish or Dreugh attacked me.

You can actually manage to jump over red mountain with one of those scrolls. Ghostfence included. To the point you could stand say, Pelagiad, and jump all the way over, to like close to Khuul or so. Of course the issue is landing. But here's something I always do. Keep an item with slowfall. If you have it at 0 points, you still actually fall at the same speed you would normally. You just won't take damage upon landing.

Reminds me of the first time I actually beat the game, it was my first real playthrough, and I didn't realize that it was a level based enemy type game, I just thought it was you leveling to be just good enough to hit things. After a number of false starts and 2 major attempts that ended in corrupted games, I grew inpatient and decided to go check out Solstheim, since every NPC told me to go there (I didn't realize GOTY edition had dlc, it was my first instance of having expansions in a game) so I did, and I grinded, died a lot, but eventually brute forced a really strong Nordic PC. I really liked the Story of that Nevarine, the Nord Nevarine who denied his destiny and attempted to flee to a sense of normalcy that was Solstheim, but after having conquered it for this generation, having the Dark Brotherhood turn his attention back to the mainland, having finally grown weary of their hunting, and leading to him traveling across the lands, getting to know the peoples and their plight, and eventually, after having silenced the Dark brotherhood, then going to face the Evil of Dagoth Ur, accepting that there would be no better time to slay the evil god than while he was a proven hero in his prime.

I once had a character that could basically hulk jump across the entire main continent in three jumps, taking all the fall damage. He could just get back up and do it again. I did this on Xbox 360 with no mods or console commands.

This comes a bit late, but you could craft a spell with some crazy amount of speed or acrobatics for one second, and jump instantly when you manage to cast it. I've done it multiple times and it gets crazier than the scroll.

@@sector9compaq i just use a 1 sec 100 pt resist magicka spell. Gives complete immunity to the debuff. If you have it active when you put on the boots, then it stays gone.

well, I have another way to do this it requires a few horus of collecting ingredients though :p but man! millions of points in speed is wild! you just press up and you character move through everything in a straight line for dozens of miles use with care as it will easily crash the game, you WILL end stuck in a texture (or under the map), you WILL destroy your save as having such boosts means that your potions are lasting for IRL YEARS!

I'm frankly surprised Solstheim was on the same map. Nowadays when they make an expansion, the new area is always in a completely different map, so when you try to swim (or jump) there, it's just water/empty dirt.

I used to stack 2 separate jump spells on xbox with the first being 2-3 seconds longer duration to get them both. The jump stacks, you load in the clouds, and fast travel is enabled. (Don't forget slowfall for the end)
