Hey Micky, any plans to try again with the youtube streams for us old fogeys who never hopped on to the twitch bandwagon? I have no idea how that site works and I'm not interested enough to figure it out - sure I'm not the only one! Edit: I checked it out and the twitch front page was full of Fortnite and half naked girls with dyed hair dressed like cartoon characters playing minecraft. Yeah, I'm too old for that shit.

Dude you and warlockracy really made me try out morrowind again, and instead of beating only the MQ with console commands in 12 hours I actually spent 160+ hours playing this game with my new character. So to me, you have done the opposite of ruining morrowind.

Spears are legitimately one of the better weapons in the game. They have a long reach, able to strike melee enemies from further away, so you can exploit the dungeon geometry more without wasting arrows or Magicka. There is the Spear of Bitter Mercy, which is FANTASTIC even for non-spear characters due to the enchantment. Spears are dope.

You just have to steal the limeware platter in the last room of the Census and Excise Office. At 650 coins, it's very valuable and it will definitely quickstart your game, but a lot of people consider it cheating.

@@LioneltheInquisitor there is an ebony mine between pelagiad and balmora called vassir-didanat cave, after you find the cave go to vivec and tell dram bero, he will reward you with a daedric weapon that can go for anywhere up to 50k. I would recommend stashing it until you have enough stuff to trade to the mud crab merchant that you can get its full price

Spears have reach. You can poke enemies from outside of their attack range with it, which is why they do so little damage

Just so you know, at the beginning when you walk into the census office when you get off the ship, on your left there's an item called a "limeware platter". If you pick it up, and quickly drop it before the guard takes it off you, you can pick it up and take it to the trader. If you have any more tips let me know, I have over 13 hours in morrowind so I'm a pretty big fan of the games.

Morrowwind was recently added to backwards compatibility on modern Xboxes, been playing it for the first time on my Series X. Aside from the 4:3 aspect ratio, and draw distance, the game runs great! No fps drops and decent loading times, if you're still interested in the xbox version

Here's a bit of lesser known lore if you're interested. Umbra is not the Orc's given name, but the name of the spirit inside the Umbra sword. The daedric prince Clavicus Vile enchanted the sword with part of his own soul, and the sword developed it's own individual identity and called itself Umbra, but it can't do anything directly just being a sword. To make up for it's immobility, Umbra possesses whoever wields the sword, and the wielder loses their previous identity and becomes Umbra. Your character can't be possessed though.

I found a way to steal the Sword of White Woe without alerting the guards. If you jump onto the small wall next to the guard and place the pillar in between you and the guard, you are effectively blocking his line of sight on you. It's a bit tricky to line it up and be able to pick up the sword as well. You don't have to be sneaking or anything. Also, Morrowind on the original XBox is backward compatible on XBox One if you have it.

Also if you jump your head goes through the ceiling and for some reason that counts as you being outside the cell and nobody can see you. If you time it right and aim properly you can just lift the sword in front of the guard
