My father was Ashkenazi Jewish musician, professionally playing bass with Kenny Burrell and also cello with Detroit Symphony Orchestra. May I share some culture from my Greek mother, A professional dancer starting in vaudeville at the age of six in 1926 , her side of the family, if you love clarinet? Please listen to Tasos chalkias.
