Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit kzbin.infoUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.

For a challenge video, I’ve got a pretty cool idea. My grandad used to pop crappie and blue gills with a silver gum wrapper. Got it off a magiver (don’t think that was spelled right) movie. So, I think a cool challenge would be for you to try and catch some bass on it. Set the time for one hour and try and catch 5 bass. Hopefully this doesn’t get lost in the comments ahaha

idk if this has been done already but a cool challenge you can do is go to like academy or Walmart and get one of those kiddy rods with like a Disney theme and I think some fake horrible lures come with it and try to catch a fish but you can only pick 1 lure of your choice that does not come with the rod (off the shelf)

Also, little tip, a frog never jumps into the water and swims away at 10mph. Throw the frog and let it air for a few seconds before you start reeling it in way faster than you should be lol

Hey LOJO, if you are missing a lot of fish on your frogs it could be a few things but you can adjust your frogs to make them stick more fish. One thing I do to all of my frogs right out of the box is slightly bend the hooks to the side and a little up so they don't sit flush with the frog. This makes them a little less weedless (still not bad) but will definately increase your hookup ratio right there. If they are short striking your frog you can trim the legs shorter so the fish have less to grab. Another thing you can try for short strikes is put a brighter color on the head with a marker. I've also heard some people like to boil their frogs to soften the plastic a bit as well but I haven't tried that. I would remove the hook before doing that if you're going to try it.
