Really interesting - So the T dosage is reduced as giving HCG already produces some T? If the typical starting dose of HCG is 100ius a day, what's the typical starting dose of Tes Cyp? Obviously titrating both accordingly Thanks

This definitely make sense. I started with 1 injection per week to 1 injection every 5 days still do not feel great, ups and downs, bloating etc. I am planning to start with 10 units of Testosterone and 10 units of HCG now everyday using Insulin syringe. Lets see how it goes. If it works well, then how do I convince my clinic to prescribe for SubQ injections going forward? Thanks Doc for this valuable video.

I'm curious as to what exactly you mean by subcutaneous injection of testosterone. Is it the same as HCG, into belly fat? I use a 27 gauge 1/2 inch needle into the deltoid for testosterone. Is that subcutaneous, or more shallow intramuscular? Thanks Dr Stevens.

Great video. How do you determine what the optimal range is for free and total test? Is this a prescribed or set figure or determined based on how the person is feeling. Also, what if test is already in a mid range eg 500 nmol/L, but high SHBG around 60+ with no liver or thyroid problems and not type 2 diabetic.

Also with daily injection you usually don't need any A.I. , you can avoid excess hematocrit and excess hemoglobin. By the way, where do you inject this daily injections? In the belly fat with an insulin needle?

When micro-dosing 200CC of Test-Cyp per week broken down into 6-7 days, is it require to micro-dose HCG on the same schedule? Is it beneficial that HCG be administered EOD. What would a correlating doses of HCG look like? Would a ratio of 2 to 1 be favorable and does that breakdown to be an ineffective amount over the same 6-7 days?

I do this myself and it works fine. I first draw in the testosterone so that the less viscous HCG sits on top of it in the syringe and I can see clearly the dose I’ve drawn.

I've tried Subq, it was great...but...I'm fat and I found I would more likely infect into Actual fat then subq. Not a big deal as it does eventually get absorbed but the different absorption frequencies were making me unstable. I usually pin at the side of the thigh or delt with an insulin needle. Though for all I know that is subq, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of fat there. Iv'e been tempted to try upper abs, where it seems it would be deep enough, but the thought of just jabbing a needle there...well, I've never seen a video on it, what if I go to far? Have you noticed this? Different absorbtion rates from subq?

What if i say that too stable levels of testosterone may cause reseptors like a numb and you need to increase the dose to get same benefits of testosterone or jumping off for a while and sensitised reseptors to start working again those low doses. (Sorry my bad English)

Eric Adar If your protocol is dialled in, HCT should stabilise with time. My HCT rises if my levels become supra physiological, as in too high for me. Make sure you don’t have a compounding issue such as Obstructive Sleep Apnoea, a sleep study may be indicated? Also, it might be worth a JAK2 blood test to exclude haemochromatosis. Have a chat with your prescribing clinician 👍

I followed your advice about subcutaneously injecting. However, after reading the conclusions of studies done on bio‐absorbability of HCG via sub and intra. Unfortunately I cannot remember the percentage now but HCG taken subcutaneous has much less absorbabiility than intramuscular! Testosterone is considered the same if not better taken subcutaneous. I'm no endocrologist I except that, but I have had to study this very hard over the last 18 months as the NHS is dragging their feet, even after 3 low T tests. So to hell living and feeling like a 90 year old at 42. So I studied it and went at it alone through trial and error. Now my endocrologist tells me he couldn't get my numbers any better himself. However, he's going to have to bc I'm not doing this on my own for years. I should of went private to start with, but ive come too far on my own now so no longer see a need to.

It’s not about bio-absorbability, you will get higher quantitative numbers with IM compared to S/C, it’s about stability and minimising peaks and troughs.

I would speak to your prescribing doctor, microdosing will lead to stable levels, so it’s likely that your protocol needs dialling in 👍
