What do you like to use for effects? (Software, hardware)

Hey Brian! I'm actually a guitar player as my primary instrument, so I have a zillion effects. FOr synths, my outboard favorite in order are 1) Specular Tempus Reverb 2) Strymon El Capistan / Volante 3) All Vibes Software I don't use a lot of plugins, but I like Valhalla. In the rack, I have a ton... in fact once I get my big system finished I'll make a video about it.

@@jupiterrising5918 Awesome much thx for replying. I tried some rack effects, wasn’t too impressed as compared to sound quality I find in ios apps/computer vst. However the ease of accessibility and patching is a huge draw. Still feeling my way around. Your stuff is awesome!👍🏼

Where did you get these little 'short' pot caps? p.s. the Arbar is in a demo mode of some kind? The layer selection is going in circles without modulation 🤔

@@jupiterrising5918 I know these, but they go on the tall '2hp' like trimmers pots. I thought these ones used for Arbhar where smaller. Thonk warns these tall ones might not fit (unless cut).

@@studio48nl Nope. The pot is the same diameter just shorter. They fit just fine. You're looking at them there.

Ahhh so I was right. No sound sources at all just an efx box. Which doesn’t really fit the bill of eurorack as much as efx pedal. Good though

Not really. In fact, there aren’t any effects (reverb, delay, chorus, etc) in it at all. It’s more like a mangling sampler. The beauty of eurorack is that you could easily replace a couple modules with sound sources and even a sequencer and make this a full self contained system.
