Hi friends, we had a lot going on today, and I thought you might enjoy coming along with me. We dewormed our cows, which doesn't sound fun but is necessary sometimes. I also made a new-to-me recipe and completely bombed it, but it still tasted good. I hope you enjoy!

Good video! I gave my chickens a tray of greens the same way you did - they broke the tray. I now pop it out of the tray and feed it that way. The roots will hold in place just like fodder. I eat supper AKA Dinner when I get to it, but growing up supper was 6 pm on the nose (Prairie boy). I have often wondered why and have come to the conclusion it has to do with the farming background. In the winter, evening chores were done before supper which would allow for them to be done during daylight. Not sure if I am right, but it makes sense to me. Grow room looks great.

I live by myself and I just eat whenever I'm hungry. It's 9pm when I'm watching this and I'm eating dinner now haha! Growing up we ate around 7, my mom was a single mom and she worked outside the home, and even she got home it was usually around 6, so it wasn't until 7 that dinner would be ready. In my previous house one of my roommates didn't get home until around 8, so that's when I aimed to have dinner. I'm in Washington state, near Olympia.

@LittleMountainRanch. Dinner has alway been (and I've tried to keep it) at 18:00; unless I worked late (used to be a registered nurse, and we worked shifts from 07:00 - 19:00). However, we now aim to have supper at least by 18:00 and at the latest be done around 18:30 - 18:45. Eating later makes us feel uncomfortable, as digestion seems to be sluggish. I love your channel and your family. Thank you for being a very natural teacher, and authentic from what I observe in your lifestyle. God bless you and yours from South Africa.

We usually have dinner around 9 or 9:30 pm. This is in Barcelona, Catalunya (Spain). When my kids were younger we tried to have dinner at 8pm. Now that they are 15, 17 and 19 everything runs a bit late. Lunch is between 2 and 3pm. They have an early start at school and university (8am) so breakfast goes around 6:45-7am. They have a sandwich during school break at 11. Thank you for sharing. 🌻

I'm watching you from the Netherlands in Europe. With us it is fairly common to eat between 5 and 6,30 in the evening. also here in this part of europe, especially by older people, dinner and lunch are sometimes reversed. dinner at 12 noon and lunch between 5 and 6. With us lunch usually consists of a bread meal without hot dishes. this is an old habit, especially among farmers, who start very early in the morning and have to do a lot of physical work. I like to see how you and your family live on the farm. I especially enjoy getting an insight into how other people, from other parts of the world, live.

From Wisconsin. Supper is generally between 5 and 6. What we've found is that there's a difference in time based more on family/chore/work hours. Dinner time was whenever my parents got home from work which was usually between 6-7pm however my hubby works until 9pm and gets home around 9:45pm so that’s when we eat dinner which is too late for me so we either have a salad or something very light or even a breakfast type meal and our large meal of the day which most would consider dinner is at 11am before hubby heads off to work. So I guess meals can be whenever you can fit them in to your schedule and as long as they are nutrient dense and you are getting all you need that’s the main thing. I’m in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and it’s just me and my hubby. Kids are adults now and on their own. 🥰❤️🙏🏻🇨🇦 Love your videos and your grow room looks terrific! I have the exact same lights and ratchet cords to raise and lower them and I love them!!

In the summer dinner is a bit later just cause it's so nice to be outside. Just think, when the chickens are producing lots of eggs, you'll be able to freeze dry some and never be out of eggs for a recipe again!

I am watching you from Oklahoma. When my kids were little we kept to a pretty regular schedule for dinner at about 5-6 pm. Now that they are grown and I only have 1-2 people to feed depending on the time of year it changes. During the summer especially when it doesn't get dark until 9pm or later a lot of the time we don't eat until after dark since it is often to hot to work outside during the middle of the day.

Sundays are family day so we eat supper around noon believe it or not! I know this is lunch to most people, but we do a really hearty meal for Sunday supper. To us supper can be between 12 and 2 but dinner would be between 5 and 6. Originally from the north east ( New York/New Jersey) that's how we were raised as we spent a lot of time with my grandparents. They were both born in the early 1900s. 1902 & 1904 to be exact. When our kids were young, dinner was usually between 4 & 6. It really depended on the time of year and the day of the week.

We eat dinner around 6:45. It's just hubby and me. I used to work full time and have a horse and barn on our property. I'd come home prep dinner, clean the barn and feed the horse, have a shower and finish dinner. We used to eat a it later, but that's too late. When I was a kid, dinner was at 5:30 every night. When I had children at home it was 6 pm or we'd accommodate sports activities by being flexible.

about the wood pellets for litter - it's what I use and even with 4 indoor cats, no smell! Also it's easiest if you get a riddle from the hardware store and then just sift the used through to another container. I really dislike the clay as well, so think you may be very happy with the pellets.
