Thick stuff 100mm + is hard to cut. I use a blunt saw and to get a square cut use a straight piece of 3x2 for a square edge guide. Do t force the cut let the saw do its stuff. Insulation saws run off line. I also sweep the dust off he cut edges and spray timbers with 5star wet rot, dry rot and woodworm protection to wet the wood then apply a very thin coat of polyurethane glue to the POR to glue it in place this increases roof and wall strength by 20%.

You need a sword made by Hatori Hanzo.

Made up wooden stools and a wooden jig rail keeps you off the old knees then used my hilti recip saw to cut 140mm insulation really fast way once your set up. I always rub the cut edge with a smooth bit of timber block gets rid of most of the dust makes it smooth then a quick wipe with a cloth after that put the tape on. lovein the content by the way 👍

Machete worked for me. I've thought of setting it up under/through a board...a bit like a router table. Fixing it down and pushing the boards through the blade...setting some kind of fence. What I have in my head is definitely something the HSE would shut you down for 😅

I’ve seen the comments about the jigsaw blades and the festool insulation cutter. I think you’ve seen my method on instagram but the Festool jigsaw blades seemed a bit more rigid then the Bosch ones and the straightest least dusty cuts up to 120mm I’ve done. Only other methods I do is for the thinner sheets which is my tablesaw or track base circular saw which is the same method as you here. Gapotape looks like such a great product though. You’ve done a very clean job insulating! sets a high bar for us all!

Thank you!! ☺️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ Will need to take a look at those festool blades! There's also some other new products I'm going to show soon as alternatives to gapotape. But aye I agree, it's a very good product!
