Today, I bring you the 2024 State of Play on Micro LED technology with an overview of How its made, Pricing and New Micro LED Monitor Prototypes being unveiled!
Currently the Pricing for Micro LED displays are very high. Here is a 2024 putlook of recently released and announced sizes/pricing:

TCL Micro LED 114" Korea (180 Million Won / $132,600 U.S.)

Samsung revealed a New 38" 1920x1080p Micro LED monitor prototype. Samsung has not disclosed if this is a tile based panel (Micro LED Tv's) or if it's a single panel. Pricing was also not revealed.

I truly believe that the Micro Leds Displays Technology uses Sapphire stronger long lasting genuine materials to housed the Leds that shines throughout the pixels elements of the individual Micro Leds in the Displays Technology. It is truly better than the QD-Oled or the WRGB Oled Organic Material Products degradation Televisions 📺 Displays Technology for sure!

@@stardust9329 actually I prefer 38. I’ve been very happily using a 42” LG C3 as my pc gaming monitor for over a year now. 32 would feel too tiny now. But 38 would be perfect, Sharper image but still immersive.

1:46 My reasoning for why these Microled displays aren't glossy is because of the pixel pitch/density Samsung Electronics is using for the tiles. The co-founder of Megapixelvr mentioned to Charbax that they chose a 0.8mm pixel pitch for their Ventana Microled display tile. His stated reasoning was that 0.8mm is the smallest pixel pitch you can have that still allows them to apply their 'Liquid Black' panel coating. 'Liquid Black' is their marketing name for a super glossy coating that gives you really deep blacks of oled. I think the 'Liquid Black' panel coating applies a polarizer that cuts a significant amount of brightness from the display and at the pixel pitch Samsung Electronics is using (

We need to wait for microled with 10k dimming zones to exist before it can become anywhere as good as individually lit led panels….. The bleeding is very very bad on current gens

Microled pixels are individually lit. It's OLED but inorganic.

soon 3d/2d 8k comes out... it means we will watch tv out side screen with no glasses 3d.. This will be the future :D

I also forgot to mention the other big reason Samsung Electronics went with matte coatinga on its Microled tvs. A matte screen coating makes the seams between the tiles on a Microled display harder to see versus a glossy coating.

That 38", 1080p Microled prototype from Samsung Electronics def was based on tiles still. The reason I think this is because AUO just claimed last week that their 31" Microled prototype at SID Display Week was the largest single panel Microled display. Also the resolution of AUO's display wasn't disclosed but from all the videos and pictures of it, you could tell it was a far cry from 1080p.

it has high PPI ... if you see cellphones can have 190ppi and full hd looks like 4k low ppi.
