Very nice! So much going on in a small space. Well done! Thanks for sharing!

Well done Mike, again you've amazed me by the speed you build the smaller layouts, and I love the double sided look. A few years ago Model Rail published an article showing a four sided layout, just using a circular track and dividers between sections. Very interesting and clever.
@BudgetModelRailwaysСағат бұрын
A four sided is an interesting Idea thanks. One of the advantages of micro layouts is the speed you can build them

Hi Mike. What a fantastic little layout. Bags of play potential with it, Could even take it to exhibitions, people like to see one person layouts not just the big clubs. Great vlog buddy. Have a fabulous new year. Thumbs up thumped 👍 .... Pete....

Absolutely love the autumnal colours, that bit of colour just adds that next level of visual interest I feel. Even though you can see both sides that road gives a visual ‘split’ acting almost like a centre backdrop (?). I really do love this layout, it has everything for everyone and is compact enough to put anywhere and run anytime.

This really does seem to be the most you could fit into a very small space Mike... Gives us all much to think about in terms of small layout designs. I particularly like the dual aspect of turning the layout around... Excellent idea..

Thanks, yes it's at the limit size wise

That looks superb! Great job once again. I like the way you've added a road over the track into the middle, much better than a level crossing. That for me, really makes it into a layout because of the access to the station and the goods shed and the scenic break with the road bridge. I think that's the best small layout plan you've done so far.

Love the layout. I liked that you put the train's controller at the layout's corner. The switch and the knob on the corner building looks abstractly like air ventilation and a water tank. The look of that doesn't detract from the overall look. Hope you had a great Christmas and wishing you the best in the coming year!! Looking forward to your videos next year.

Many thanks for all your content during 2024 and the layout as whole looks Great - you must be pleased and the ballasting looks spot-on considering your concerns earlier on. As we move towards 2025 I'm thinking N Gauge ovals of various size are where it is at for me in the New Year. Have a temporary one set up near me as I type for some Holiday fun which will develop into something more permanent over the coming months. Just ordered a Kato compact oval for another project and gathering some bits to add to a Fleischmann starter set that I've owned for some time but finally going to get it fixed to a board. Best Wishes for 2025 Guys 🙂

If this was mounted onto a motorised turntable, you could run a loco at just the right speed, and it would appear to be staying static, with the whole world moving around it…

Add some weight to the wagon, those n-gauge one tend to be too light (especially those with plastic wheels).
